like all the dad's in our neighborhood growing up... he was kind of a douche... his son frankie3 was a real weenie too... and up in smoked all his father's dreams of football stardom.

I watched frankie3 get beaten up by all three of his sisters, two tomboys, two girls, every boy in town...the school bus driver, a janitor...

he was an incurable ***talker... he would get into these arguments where he was clearly in the wrong and then just push whoever he was arguing with until they punched his lights out...men, women, children... he would push their buttons and then they would clock his *** and he would go down like a sack of onions.

his mouth wrote more checks than his *** could have dreamed of cashing in a million years...

but. he. just. wouldn't. stfu.

Which when it came to his father Frank Jr. that meant an inevitable belt strapping.. We would go play at his house but typically within two to three hours...give or take. he would piss off his dad enough to get beaten. and we would get sent home.

His dad was a manly man that like every other *** took up jogging in the eighties. All our dad's were running like idiots all over the *** place for what reason I will never know.... because everyone else was doing it probably.

and Frankie Jr was also a one upper.

If my dad ran eight miles after work Frank Jr would run ten after work and then he would whip his kid's *** and then he would go do more manly ***like chopping wood....

and it was the chopping wood that got him. when he never came back inside his wife went out and found him stone dead of a heart attack out by the wood pile.

when I saw the ambulance come to the house I wondered who had kicked frankie3's *** this time.... but it was his dad.


I never liked that son of a *** anyways so I didn't even go to the funeral. *** him. it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I don't think anyone really liked him...he was a jerk.

his family moved on, his wife remarried. nobody ever mentions him.... seasons change... time passes...wind blows leaves down the street

ok so there is an important part of the story... the doctor said the reason he had a heart attack and died like an idiot in his own back yard was because he wasn't giving his heart enough time to recover between strenuous exercises.

And probably Mosin wasn't going to run ten miles before chopping the wood.... but you never know. Maybe he was thinking about running a half marathon first.

Just Don't.

take lots of breaks, drink plenty of water, don't end up like that jackass frank jr.

right and so if you're out there swinging away this weekend and you smell cigar smoke and you turn and look and nobody is there...

that's me, sitting in flavin's lawnchair, smoking a cigar and just staring out into the distance. I'm not watching you, because for me that is too much work, but I am there in spirit, kind of, warning you to take it easy paul bunyan don't blow a valve...or a gasket.
