I saw some coverage of that on TV on the weekend, and they were pegging it as a publicity stunt, since there is supposedly going to be a reality show covering the selection process.
If it is real however, and these people really are excited about the prospect of dying in 62 days' time on an uninhabitable rock, well, that's natural selection right there.

If it is real however, and these people really are excited about the prospect of dying in 62 days' time on an uninhabitable rock, well, that's natural selection right there.
That's what made me apprehensive also. Some of the finalists are in their thirties to fifties, too. You would think, in ten years time, some wouldn't be able to fulfill the requirements unless they choose to put some aspects of life on hold for a decade.

benny was an evil sonofabish scumbag motherfucxer he was a slumlord before people knew you could even do that.... He had an illegitimate son before people did that either... that he also never acknowledged, mentioned or paid any attention to...
Somehow... The son found out he was sick, seized all his assets and sold his company to the guy that benny hated most in the universe, and then stuck him in the shittiest nursing home in the muggiest arm pit of suckass florida to rot and die... benny held on for a couple years complaining to anyone that would listen when he remembered the good old days...which wasn't very often.
so every time my boss says "what benny would have done in that situation is...."
I say "that reminds me I need to give your children the name of that putrid cesspool of a nursing home in florida benny died in...
so they can stick you there...."
yes I know it's the same one my children will one day force me to live in... if I get too weak to pull the trigger....

My Grandpa died of Alzheimer's. But only *after* we put him in a home. Then again, he had to suffer through watching his eldest son die of aids, and be the one to pull the plug off his life support.
Then again, my dad looks like Don Cherry. Only younger. and without the horrible fashion faux pas he calls a sports suit.

Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
