LOL! Ah, you'll be fine. Don't run directly on the roads, stay a few feet off to the side/ near the tree line.
The coast is always to the East. Remember that.
Avoid falling, broken legs are the worst thing that can happen.
Don't use anything other than a can opener to open tactical bacon. This is mostly preference. I don't want to waste any.
Canned peaches are the best food in the game. They give hydration and energy.
Not being hungry/thirsty is good, but you can go beyond that. Keep eating/drinking until you get to bright green energized and hydrated. This will restore blood you've lost and health over time.
You can drink from ponds/rivers/water pumps. Keep an eye out for them.
Do not shoot zombies in potential hot spots unless absolutely necessary. Melee them instead.
You'll be fine :)

Good to know! Especially the beret part. Oh I just threw that in for no particular reason. We have a boonie hat only dress code. Or used to anyway. It makes it easy to spot people.
That way if we see someone not in a boonie hat, we know it's not one of us. If we see someone in a boonie hat, "Are you by the church?" Quicker to identify.
Oh we also run a very strict scorched earth policy.
Can use colored armbands now too.

Most confrontations don't involve any voice com with other players. it's usually just a shootout. Really the only time you'll hear chatting is in the cities near where players spawn when they run around looking for gear and those places are avoidable.
You can go an hour+ running around not finding another person, but it's the adrenalin rush of running into someone unexpectedly and getting into a shootout that a lot of people play for. Or stalking a well geared player with a longrange mosin waiting for the perfect shot, just to run into a squad of 4 players and trying to get away from them.
Okay. So, it's not that bad.

Okay. So, it's not that bad.
Yeah. When you get away from the beach monkeys that camp the coast(it's not every server but can be annoying) area for newspawns you're moving out into the area that the geared players are in. When you find yourself at the airfield or military tents, people don't want to talk. They don't want to risk getting ambushed or backstabbed and lose all the stuff they found so it's shoot first, shoot them again, shoot any friends they were with, loot the corpses, then move away before people that heard those shots come looking to scavenge the remains of the fight.

I'm too busy working & raising kids to buy a new *** videocard every year, then *** around for half a day getting all that running, just to start over again in another 6-months to a year. I just don't have the time or patience atm. so I'll be a console scrub, that's ok.

I'm too busy working & raising kids to buy a new *** videocard every year, then *** around for half a day getting all that running, just to start over again in another 6-months to a year. I just don't have the time or patience atm. so I'll be a console scrub, that's ok. Video cards don't need replaced as often any more. I only replaced mine because it started sounding like a jet engine on boot up. It was 4ish years old.
But I fully understand where you're coming from. Consoles are constant and have no hassles.

Might have been my interim card, which was only slightly better than the original, if not about the same. My pc is 6 years old now, so you will probably be okay.

Ngotie is a good Dayz streamer. Very laid back but very tactical and level headed. Likes to play sniper and hunt people.

My PC runs dayz laggy as all hell, I could piss with the settings & get it to run smooth, but the lethargy is strong within me. I'm going to wait until h1z1 comes out on ps4, assuming I live until mid-2016.

Well, today has been pretty damn informative.
The in game clock works in real time, right? So, if you can only manage to get on after 9:00 PM you'll always be playing during IG nighttime when things get real crazy?
Naps are getting iffy with the bug, so playing during the weekend in the day is becoming very unlikely.

Since we all can't be on the same linkshell in game, this can be our cross server linkshell thread.
Like most linkshells, it can be pretty dead at times. Other times it's full of intense conversations about either rl, gear, goals, pokemon or anything else you want to contribute.
We can cover any sort of topic at all, within reason of the forum rules. No real main topic, just a bunch of FFXIAH friends/people coming on and discussing random things.

Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
