Always buy and cut up a good roast instead of buying chunks of pre-cut stew meat, pre-cut stew meat is often cuts of meat that couldn't be sold otherwise.

I had no idea! Shoulder or rump for stew cuts? Shoulder, I assume?

EDIT: Just thought of venison stew. That would hit the spot tonight!

I don't know. I was half assuming and half rationalizing cutting that roast up for stew.

Still needs to stay in the slow cooker for a thousand hours.

Didn't have lunch either, and I could kick myself for it.

I'd like to take my mom's yappy little dog to the shelter. I hate that little ***. At Christmas dinner, my grandma told my mom that it was "the ugliest little dog she's ever seen."

Hmm.

Here is our snow baby. Not sure which other picture he posted for sleeping, he'll have to repost that when he gets home
Lovely look in her eyes. Somewhere between "Entertain me" and "give me milk or I'll plot something" mixed with a little "I like you a bit". Seems like she is developing fine. Any problems you encountered so far as first-time parents?

Also random snow baby of the day:

thanks! :)

It's what we call her "mona lisa" smile, mishievous and amused. She started using it a few weeks ago when her bottom teeth started coming in.

She's awesome.

She was rolling over from back to front before 5 months, sitting up before 6 months, crawling on knees at 7 months, and pulling up at 8 months. She's been walking side to side and backwards while holding onto furniture and now is working on standing without holding onto anything (last night she lasted 4 seconds before plopping down). She turned 10 months on Monday.

She's a seriously happy baby (until she gets too tired or is sick) and she giggles all the time. We are enjoying the hell out of her :p

The main issue we've run into is she does not like to sleep. Going to sleep means she can't watch whats going on or play. She -usually- takes two naps a day with a total of 3-4 hours.

And because she is so active she eats a massive amount of food. She's below average in weight (only thing chubby on her is her cheeks), but she eats all the time. We were actually concerned while she was sick in December because she lost weight when her appetite decreased, but it never became serious.

She's pretty awesome :)

Congratulations!^^

Sounds wonderfull, nothing to worry about the food from the sounds of it, the cheeks are perfectly normal (as all the Random Snow babies pictures have proven so far).

Sleep is indeed a hard thing to deal with. What's her total sleep time a day? (the nap time just seems to low to be the only sleep).
When do the children go to Kindergarten in Denmark?

Late, but let me know how the beard oil works out, and what level of beard you have. I'm about ~5 weeks into mine and plan on keeping it going. Beard oil seems a bit spendy, but if it works out well I might go in for it.

Will do. Friend got some for Christmas and said he loves it so I'm giving it a try.

I'm currently around 3" of beard, if that helps.
