All praise and glory to lord foodha and the cornucopia of grilled meats he blessed us with this weekend. Independence day! /softly whispers (from dietary restrictions) was an awesome weekend of massive meat consumption! huzzah!
Let's see...I grilled steak and chicken and sausages on friday, then I grilled a whole chicken on saturday, then our uncle kicked out the jams on sunday and cooked pork ribs, pork chops, bratwurst, hamburgers, hot dogs and I don't even know what else.... I think he made a couple of goat steaks or something... So now it's time to crank the caffeine to maximum and try to sweat it all out! and quietly cheer for my heart to win out in it's epic battle against cholesterol and charcoal carbon residue. Now I feel some deeply repressed instinct compelling me to strip down to sweat pant shorts and a greasy tee shirt, then slowly put around walmart in an electric fat mobile cart with a stupid angry look on my face. maybe I should practice first.... /clears throat whutru lukinat!? /belch hmmmm... needs more drawl and less jowl movement...maybe if I chew some tobacco....

I guess I may have prevented an injury to the smallest child, as I crapped on his mother's parade, & made him go to bed about 20 minutes before she got thwacked with an artillery shell in the thigh. I don't know how she didn't suffer any burns, buts all's well that ends well, I suppose. blah. all work & no fun makes jack a dull boy. So, one dental emergency, one artillery shell casualty, kids used as target practice, a salad, (/sings) and a partridge in a pear tree. Good weekend for all the Ni-ers!
I just got burnt to a crisp tugboating the sweetman around and yelling at kids to stop running. We had lame snaps, crackles, and pops. Roman candles, tanks, satellites, and those scooting roosters. I played la reina de guacamole and nibbly-bits prep while watching half-assedly watching the Germany game. Sent my bad joo-joo to France by wearing my Deutschland World Cup '98 paraphernalia on The Forth. (I'm a bad 'Merican.) Eat it, roosters! You were made for lame firecracker scootage!
