Bro! Don't sweat it! Don't let her get to you. You're a good Dad. You work hard for them and give them things that they need, not always things they want. Hell, they even play musical instruments! And you know who plays what, and know its not a Saxamaphone....

Since the subject of extra-curriculars kind of ties into what we were talking about earlier, yeah...Eventually they'll find out that those violin and piano lessons cost daddy a butt-ton over the years. I didn't realize how much it all costed until my parents sent me off with the checks for registration. Then, I got an even bigger reality check when teaching lil'uns during HS. :/
Ballet, drill team, select soccer, golf clubs, recital costumes (Which are a fortune for one to six performances, depending on age and how many classes!), uniforms, travel expenses, etc. ALL THAT ***! Oh God! I'll be in your boat too soon enough.
