Some female coworkers have been on me to decorate my desk... so I finally broke down and said fine... I think I'm going to go with s horror clown motif... she objected because she said she does not like clowns and I reply by saying well I don't like kids but I'm not telling you to take those pictures down... we both had a laugh about it then I went on with my day... lol...
all I have is an empty bowl I used to keep pachicios & cashews & such, but I realized if I quit filling it, not as many people can in here & bothered me, so it's been empty for 2 years or so.
but I do have a bulliten board with some funnies on it. I've been too busy to change anything on there in 6 months or so.
not too big on decore here either. I used to have it decorated, I had some Mecha kits on a book shelf behind me, not really visible in my office. After one bad day, that I was thinking I'd quit or be fired, I packed it all up, along with some personal files, and put it a banker box under my desk ready. Been there now for almost a year, its in sight of my bosses, they know....I am ready to just GTFO!

Who needs decor when you have rolls of plans and binders of specs stacked to the ceiling! (Maybe I'm exaggerating a little about the spec books.) Those are still made????????????????????? I have not seen a real printed out book in like 5 years...

The President, is the old schooler to heart, no PC, no emails, no smart phone. And people need to cominicate with him via email, I am his email, I print them out as important. If need his attention, I bring to him, if can wait a bit, I put in his box....but when I bring important ones over to him, hes like "You gotta stop printing these out!" I am like "No, I can pull you into my office to read them or get you a tablet and setup email on it so you can reply to your own emails" which he drops subject and reads email, writes down his response, and I type it back to sender. AANDDDDD they wonder why I can't get ***done.
Yah.....I think one day a few weeks ago I was about to walk out again....if it was not for company be worse without me (not to over state my importance, but I'm an unfortunately very intertwined cog in this outfit -_-) but I also have family members in the company that benefit from my hard work, they get and have steady work loads.

Mine is the same. He's pushing seventy and still going. He doesn't like the prospect of one of his sons taking over that much. One is gay and has been dis-owned from what I gather from office gossip. He lives in CA now. The other is in his mid-thirties and has been in and out of rehab. Since I've been here it's been almost once per year. They let someone loose on the clerical staff to give him a chance, he gets money, and goes off the deep end. It seems like the safer bet would be on the gay son, but you know...

As far as I know, it didn't happen at my HS, but I went to a school that was a white-flight, Bible-beater safe-haven.
I knew what it was, but that was the first and only time that I came face-to-face with it. So many questions come to mind too.

Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
