I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I <3 history. that could be a ball. I guess I don't know you well enough to shaman this one, sounds like a lot. we'll have to see how depraved I can get this weekend, & maybe then I'll start throwing advice around all wildly. Lately I've had the desire to try to advise the young punks of the world, but then I start to realize I'm not qualified at all, & who knows if I even know more than them??? It's a strange desire. so I guess if you ever felt those pangs, at least you'd be in a position to confuse your students with whatever propoganda you saw fit. that'd be fun. & slightly dangerous. OK to the university you go, corrupt them, Z, corrupt them.

Zah, I've heard horror stories about teachers getting fired because they refuse to pass the star quarterback in their class because this person has not earned their grade. Teachers get fired over this ***. I'd rather students do sports unaffiliated with schools, personally.

I couldn't agree with you more, Zah. School should be a place for education, and I just don't see what sports have to do with that. But as long as we have a society driven by obsession over sporting events (have you seen the salaries some of these "professionals" get?). I'm not saying that the people who play sports don't work hard, but in the end, they're working hard and getting paid to play a game. The kicker about that is, those are the people who give us ***because we play video games. That in itself is a quandary of epic proportions.
Also, the incredible stress that brings upon you and others who are busting your *** playing sports and excelling at school. The time you're supposed to be enjoying yourself with ("youth is spoiled on the young") is instead spent stressing out pretty much 24/7. This system... /sigh.
