Actually, due to the way MLB is pronounced, (em-el-bee), an is acceptable. It's usually "ZOMG THE COMPUTERS ARE FROZEN AFOIMADFOIASDFOIJASDFOIJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" it actually is an instead of a in that case... while in most cases you can strictly go by whether the word begins with a consenant or a vowel but in some cases the sound of the word makes all the difference...
in the case of MLB the M is pronounced more like em while you can hear the difference in how the m is pronounced in something like "a man" where a would be used... so he was right in saying "an" MLB team... It's really all about how it's read I guess. If you read MLB as Major League Baseball, than yes, a is correct. If you read it as MLB, then an is correct.
But generally you are to assume that it is read as the abbreviation. an MLB sounds better to me.

I notice a trend when I play games, and it's happening now with LoL. I start off with crazy beginners luck and do decently well for someone who's just starting off. Then, it drops down as I begin to fully understand the mechanics of the whole enchilada and I begin to suck terribly. Then of course it's nothing but improving from there.

Honestly I think we should play more draft mode to help prevent the ridiculous champ selections we go against. It's not so much the banning as it is you can see what they pick and try to counter it.
Let's be honest, a lot of the time it comes down to their team comp and our lack of ways to counter it.
