adds an underlying thrill of tension, like "Oh no! What if the muggles find out!" throughout the entire series.
Not once, did I think this.

On top of that, the characters are believable, normal people. There are no genius bikini supermodels with superpowers and convenient mutations.
That one Potion from Chamber of Secrets

And Emma Watson

Those were a polyjuice potion and a horcrux, not mutations. And Emma Watson might be gorgeous, but in the books Hermione was plain and more cute than beautiful.
I don't know anybody that's disappointed her portrayal of Hermione is TOO pretty XD

Idk... the secret society thing is used in twilight too (as well as many others but twilight seemed th most ridiculous to compare it too lol)... so you can't really throw that on there... Emma Watson is bleh... and she was like 10 y/o in the movie soo...
She ain't 10 years old anymore!
Not really sure how old she is now nor am I interested lol... but I was referencing her being 10 y/o in the movies so if you liked her then there was something wrong with you...

Imo the Harry Potter series is a decent read but I found it just got boring and boring after book 5 or so.

I actually haven't finished the last book yet. I just got way too damn bored with it.

Twilight came out well after Potter, if anything Stephanie Meyer just stole J.K. Rowling's idea. But it's still quite different. In Twilight the vampires are hiding in plain site, so to speak. In Harry Potter, there is an entire world right alongside ours, with its own government, job industry, schooling, economy, everything.

So it shall be! We'll suffer in silence like the wizards and witches outnumbered by muggles in our beloved books!

In all honesty, I adored the books growing up but I haven't read them in years. I think the last time I re-read them all was right before the last one came out. I have to re-read and re-watch everything when we come up on a sequel, just to make sure I have all the nitty gritty details straight!

The movies weren't that bad. Yeah they left out content but what book->movie doesn't leave out content?

Brutal... means you had to spend a bunch of money on garbage... at the time I had been lucky because my g/f always went with her friends... like 6 of em got together and went every time one came out...

Funny how women have that power. I'm ashamed to say that I've seen Sex in the City 2. But I guess it's okay because I demand the same of my ladies. They either have to have seen The Big Lebowski, or I will make them watch it so that they can love it.

I would NEVER force a man to watch Sex in the City ... I can barely watch it myself. Definitely haven't seen 2, but I did see 1 and watched a good chunk of the shows.

I'm still working on convincing my husband that visiting that place is absolutely vital and non-negotiable. He's not buying it, heh.

Sarah Jessica Horseface set aside her passport while buying shoes and I just sat there thinking, "Yeah, this is pretty obvious. She's going to have issue with this, later." And sure as ***, at some point she's all like, "Oh noes, where is my passport?!?!?" And the whole time I was disappoint. Not once did I see sex within a city. That show has a great name (almost pornoish) and yet I didn't have a hankering to see any of them naked.
