Still a motivation issue... spend hundreds of dollars to have the machine just sit there...

Well that has to come from within, but I would hope that spending the money would help to motivate you.

No doubt... and from my experience even the expense isn't enough to motivate...

To each their own, people find motivation their own way.

I'm merely suggesting something that may help since he made comments about it being too cold and forgetting. Seeing a treadmill every day is a pretty decent reminder :P

I feel unmotivated today .-.
I stole all your motivation. I have to do an estimate on almost nothing, because some slacker like Zah said "Oh, we don't need to finish these drawings, let the dumbass contractors figure it out!" then bigs lolz are had to a toast with mimosas or something. I can see it now.
They left them unfinished? If it's any consolation, I found out a project is behind because a GC's millwork sub Something...Something...Ho-hum...Not interested in excuses. In other words...Bitchin'!

nothing sized, mech systems half finished, & ducts that go up chases only to dissappear into thin air....

GC - hey buddy price this up!

me - price what? there's *** nothing here!

GC - fill in the blanks. >:O

me (to myself) - fill the blanks with 1 million just to be safe!

aghaghahhaghahh!!

lmao, I know a GC up here you could hook up with. >.O

One of the Mechanical Contractors that we use often had something similar happen to them. A couple of years ago, the state funded generators some coastal and potential flood plain counties here. They were just left do their own digression by the state.

Also, WTF? Way to go, TX! How many years after Katrina, Rita, and Ike did it take you to put up these precautionary measures?

You expected them to do something on time? lol... cmon now...

Edit: they just finishied a 2 year project repairing/updating a bridge and road into the city and while that was way over schedule... they are now taking over three weeks to put in new crosswalks... It's causing all sorts of back ups too in something that should have been done in under a week... but noo..... They still aren't even done yet..

@Mosin I'm not bad at all sports. I'm decent in soccer and rollerblade hockey. =(

And You think that's bad, Flav, There's this one small intersection near my work (that if I go to Uni after work, or work after Uni, I have to go through this intersection) that's been under construction since at least 2005. Everybody's pissed about it. What it does is this: Northbound light green, EVERYTHING ELSE RED. then cycles for each lane. and it takes like 20 seconds. Huge traffic backup all because of *** left turns.

If it's a concern of storage, many of them fold up.

If it's a concern of nowhere to put it to use it, :/

Looks like the bridge had been crumbling and they were too lazy to do anything about it until just this January, from what I'm reading via googling it.

/tableflip

lazy jerks

edit:
Funding problems, apparently. My bad. Still, wouldn't be funded til 2014, if approved. That's such bullcrap, bullcrap, bullcrap, bullcrap.

This winter semester (Jan 2013 thru Apr 2013) I need to take that god damn road to school. ***. I don't want to detour!

weeeeelllllll sir. I can tell you a little. a lot of it stems from owners/engineers unrealistic completion times, & chicken-***general contractors who won't say "no, x is not possible, it can be done in y"
but even that isn't all of the problem, as I'm sure Zah will tell you, some GC (general contractor) will tell the owner/architect that something can be done in a certain amount of time, then "O ***, it looks like thats 15' of rock and not 15' of dirt, instead of a month, it's gonna be a year & a half" O.o

I guess the main point is, the work is never easy, & rarely goes the way it's supposed to. compound that with general stupidity & the potential to make or lose money, & it becomes a living, breathing monster that just runs its course & you'll be damned lucky to get away with your ***.

that about some it up from the architects side as well zah?

lmao

lol... I really only deal with it when they *** up and then play the blame game... oh my god construction defect claims are the worst too and they never seem to go away... especially in NV

it's more than money. I will have to do business around here for another 50 years or so. I will have a much easier time when people know I hold the value of truth above money.

how bad do you want to work with someone you know will *** you over for 5$?
