Well, regardless of the crappy sites, congratulations on the new job offer!
thanks ^^; pretty decent pay for an "entry" level position. as long as i can keep myself from scamming myself... life should get less tedious. no more driving 3 hours to have everyone tell me they can't afford what i'm offering, then driving 3 hours back to make pizzas for 8 hours.

nope. all of the driving i do for aflac is out of my pocket. i can claim it on my taxes as long as i detail it. since most of my stuff is local i usually don't <.<; /lazy

i was actually looking at desktops and laptops in your price range. i found some websites with custom built pc/laptops for decent prices. can get something specifically for xiv. do you really need another laptop? you just got that one last year and it's good for everything, BUT xiv lol.
I like laptops because I can lounge anywhere with them while I'm working or playing. Don't judge me! College ruined me! It's a matter of convenience.

If it means anything it wasn't their insurance division that messed things up... it was their financial division... that coupled with the fact that they insured everyone lol...

i'll judge all i want! i figured something like this or this are in the range you were talking about. if you decide you wanna do it, can always find ways to work the price down. could always pay half the price and get a desktop though =x
*edit* i'd still make a thread before you buy anything and get some advice from people who've bought laptops for xiv. i know headstrong plays on a laptop and it's not super great, so maybe the benchmark isn't a good test.

With very few problems and looks like this I'm not sure I would suggest going all in on a new laptop untill the release the specs for 2.0 though. They are supposed to be making the graphics engine less HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE then so theres a chance you current laptop could run it afterwords. Unless you really want in on the pre 2.0 plotline or just really want to play now XD The server Iro and I are on is back open btw though I'm not sure if anyone else besides us plays regularly.

If I were to upgrade my video card I could probably go higher but I've been to lazy to learn how to do that XD

Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
