If you know how to communicate you won't reach the point of no return with others.

you do what you want, I'll do what I want, not going to degrade my principles.

it still had nothing to do with this.

I love how it goes from... hollywood isn't failing Avengers is the greatest selling movie of all time... now its hollywood is failing because of bad movies? So are they failing or not?

Also, whether or not critics or whoever else think something is good or bad... all forms of entertainement really come down opinion... I thought the first hangover movie wasn't all that good but millions of others thought it was the funniest movie ever...

I used to be one of those people who was all about nonconformity. I would fight the system and do shocking things that would cause the "preppy" kids to scoff, like turn down an invitation to a party because I was to blind to consider that people actually wanted to hang out with me. But like Zah said, I left all that crap in high school.

Now I'm a social butterfly... with... /sniff... short hair. I mean, I don't go up to strangers and begin a conversation with people, but if you're somewhat familiar, prepare to get talked at. I have a tendency to rant.

It really shouldn't be called "anti-social" I have no problem interacting with half-way intellegent people. my problem is having my time wasted with inane ***.

we should change the term to "patience for idoit deficient" or something a little more eloquent.

hahahahaha! I have a hillbilly nieghbor with the IQ of a corndog. he wants a friend, bad. I do not. I make sure that every social interaction we incurr, I either insult him, ignore him, or mock his comments/ideas. he doesn't get it. he still wants to talk to me. I'm doing my absolute best to try to get his pea-brain to associate my face with an unpleasent experiance. so far, after 1 year, I have had no success, & still have to listen to his HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE stories. being an *** has gotten me no where. just my personal take.
Did you tell him you don't want to talk to him anymore?
I was being generous with the comparison to the corndog. try telling a corndog you don't want to talk to it.
Idk... I'd just tell him to go away and that I really had no interest in talking to him then walk away... If that didn't work then I'd be a little worried...

Edit: Maybe dude is trolling you hard lol..

they make profit from movies like the Avengers, but they lose a lot from bad movies, the term "hollywood failing" is referring to their profit margins not being as high as they'd like.

I haven't seen either of those, but they looked stupid.

You're getting defensive, and I'm not even on the offensive. This in itself is a great example of why anti-social people don't get further than their sociable counter-parts. Just saying...Whether you listen or not is your issue, and guess what? Listening to others, and learning from their experiences, good and bad, will get you further too. :)

no, the boss should be doing work too, but it's also the bosses job to make sure the team is doing their job, not other members of the team.

doesn't really have to do with social skills though.

you can be antisocial and still do teamwork, as long as you aren't working with incompetent morons, you can't work with those people.

Mag and Mosin,

LOL! Yeah...Not fun getting sucked into random conversations with random people sometimes.

Example: Random redneck at the gas station ranting about Obama taking his teeth when they're extracted.

True story!

This popped into my mind...
