I know how you feel Kalyna! idk wtf my problem is, but I just can't seem to give a ***about food/preperation. I think there;s some wierd part of my brain that dismisses the need for sustinance right up until my stomach starts eating it's self, then says "O wtf let's get some mcdonalds quick" well son of a ***, I've been working behind a desk for two years now, & I gained 20 pounds -.- I'm going to have to figure out another way of doing things soon, lest I become a fattyboombalaty.
But then I realized I could use the 10 more minutes for sleep and thought I'd do it the night before.
Then the night before I'm like "I'm too tired, I'll do it in the morning."
Then eventually it'll be "I'll just buy something from the snack truck and that'll be my lunch.
Then I realized that there's usually never decent food when I get home, it's all my mom's health food that only she can eat, because they taste worse than cardboard, so I started getting fast food on my way home.
And that's how I'm spending more money than I make.
Sadly, yes. I'm working on trying to get my *** out of there but currently, I need to get my *** graduated with a Bachelors' and get myself to start saving money like I used to.
It's hard changing lifestyles once you realize what's going on.
That's my problem too. I go out to eat too much as well. Plus I can only cook simple things like canned foods, ramen, or microwavable things (and stuff with oven instructions).
Budgeting is a valuable skill. Take what you make in a month, subtract all your monthly bills first, see how much money you have left over for gas/food and you'll know how much you can spend on yourself what's left over.
My problem is I go out to eat too much in a month. Because I'm lazy and don't go to the store and cook things.
I stopped doing that pretty much cold turkey :P Only times I eat out are:
Chinese Wednesday
Wing night (though next week we're going for fish and chips night instead to mix it up)
Hanging out with friends on the weekend
Amazing how much money you can save just by doing that. Plus cooking while watching TV/listening to music is fun :)
@Kal: If you're spending more money than you're making, it should be easy to change lifestyles. That's not a minor thing, should be eye opening really.
Yeah, I know how to make mac and cheese and pasta.
The only problem I have with pasta is we never have pasta sauce, and they tend to be a bit too dry =(
The problem with making porkchops or steaks is I'm always afraid I'd either undercook or overcook (aka Idk how long to cook it for) and the first (and last) time I did that, I ended up upsetting my stomache =( (using a foreman grill)

Aye, every time I cook on my Foreman grill, I always make sure to thoroughly clean it. Just had burgers the other night, right before Walking Dead came on, very delicious. :D
I'm slowly working on it. Doing it one step at a time. Usually I'd buy like $10 of food on the way home, now it's $5, then after a month I'm gonna try not getting food on the way home.

Daj is Ludoggy's gay lover. Not much else is known about this Asuran. Tairo is kinda new, but since is a female and Alyria's lesbian lover, she fit right in real quick.
Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
