Macs can get way faster than that. Look at the apple store. My laptop is outdated. I'm gonna get a new one in August.

How do you install wine for free??? All I see is this crossover thing that costs 50 dollars.

Wine is free software, Crossover is something completely different. Darwine is the most common version used on Mac.


But crossover is totally worth it, and it´s way easier to use than darwine.
I bougt crossover and I dont regret it, awsome piece of software, most games using steam ect runs great on it.

For what it's worth I've heard similar comments on Crossover. Dunno if you'd wanna bite the bullet before touching Wine as it might seem like a lot if you don't have a need to run many Windows-onry programs, but still, people speak pretty highly of it. No personal experience of my own to comment on, though.

This thread is so fun simply for the fact people are getting more geeky than usual. I'm totally spamming needlessly at this point, though. lol :<
