Not sure it's been said. Sekishitsu is a crafted item from relatively easy to obtain materials. The problem is the Lacquer tree log(to make sap), which drops from almost every NM in abyssea-LTP at a low rate.

How are they buying it for 10k? :O

One guy bought all available grass as soon as servers popped yesterday.

I totally thought this would happen. It was very suspect that the last update SE would release grasses for a high level cloth synth that made orange threads and cloths that just so happened to be the exact colors as the GEO hat. On a hunch I bought up what I could while another player was stockpiling, and made myself what I could before the update. Looks like I was very lucky, as I can do my set and also give a few threads to linkshell mates. What a pain though, and I'm sure that other dude is cashing in, since he must have bought 50 of the grasses over the past couple weeks.

What's the recipe on this one, if you don't mind?

I think lacquer tree logs drop from a couple different morbol mobs too, like Demonic Roses in Boyahda and Anemone in the jungles.

The recipe for Sekishitsu is honey, vermilion lacquer (which is a 24 alchemy synth, fire crystal/mercury/sulfur), and four lacquer tree saps, with a fire crystal.

I totally just ran outside Adoulin to double check, mortified I'd maybe been seeing things wrong. Don't give me a heart attack like that. D:

Talk to Sylvie (I-5, W. Adoulin).
Talk to Nhili Uvolep (I-7, E. Adoulin).
Go to Morimar Frontier Station and talk to the two NPCs there (seems optional?).
Go to J-5 in Morimar and examine the "Ergon Locus ???" for a CS.
Examine again to spawn a Deranged Ameretat (very high magic evasion and hits fairly hard).
Examine again for CS.
Back to Sylvie for your club and bell.

Cerberus.Pleebo said: »
Wait until next game day, zone, and talk to Sylvie again.
She asks you to get 3 chunks of Acuex Ore from Cirdas Caverns.
Examine the grave at M-9 (behind a colonization reive).
Talk to Nhili Uvolep (I-7, E. Adoulin) to get your AF hands!

Examine again to pop Ancestral Rage (earth/dark elemental, extremely high dt).
Defeat it and examine the grave again.
Return to Sylvie for a CS, your Geomancy Pants, and the title "Storied Geomancer".

The first quest for AF is not so bad if you are bringing a bunch of pet jobs. So 3-4 Summoners should be able to take it down in no time. Assuming those Summoners know how to play the jobs, and understand "positioning" your avatars so not all of them are getting insta killed.

Had only minor issues on the final fight as GEO MNK WHM (mule). Low tier nukes with Atinian are silly.

Fight is super easy Thf + healer (geo/whm in my case). Took ~3 minutes, just have to flee out of Extremely bad breath range.

Watched a pld just walk away its a long cast and ended up being cake that way.

Materials always get jacked up in price when stuff first comes out. Farming the acuex ore for the hands quest wasn't too bad in a group. The thread/cloth is the most overpriced of the items atm on Cerberus, so I'm just waiting until they fall to finish the armor.

Much cheaper if you buy mats and find a crafter. It's 300k x 6 = 1.8mil vs buying cloth that costs 3.5 mil...

I used my alt and she was equipped with full HELM gear including the bayld feet. I used regular sickles and did a circuit around bivouac #3. Got 5 in 2 1/2 hours (which is probably a bit on the lucky side) and got 3 more the next day in another 2 hours.

That's when I said to hell with this because HELM can indeed suck it.

Also, I never got any akaso on a critical slice so you can definitely save your bayld on that.

For the Bell AF and the Legs AF quests...

Do you just have to be GEO and start cut scenes and can then be any job to pop mob?
