Changing character race without windower plugin?

Does anyone know of a way to change the apperance of your race in game without the windower plugin? I play on a mac and windower does not work for me. Any information on this would be much obliged, starring at galka backside all day starts to get old.

Years ago, before plasticsurgeon, there was a program to do that. Wardrobe I think(Gear and Race I think but it's been to long to really remember). It was sort of buggy though, and you would blink whenever a new item dropped or you bought something.

I really doubt the thing exists now, and even if you found an old copy it probably wouldn't work.

Ashita has a plastic surgeon add-on. Ashita works on my mac absolutely fine, whereas windower does not.

Swap the dats, easiest way.

Wardrobe died at some point, nobody was updating memlocks and the program was discontinued for some reason. That's what made me use PlasticSurgeon instead but it was of course less fun than Wardrobe.

Wardrobe and MagicSwap are the 2 things that I'll always regret not salvaging from my old computers, best programs for FFXI ever.

Does anyone know where these dats are located for race? I know where the face ones are located. I ultimately want to change the race to Hume-M large.

I use parallels on MacBook Pro, and bootcamp on my iMac. Windower works fine. Are you looking for permenant change or just whenever?

Just keep in mind that swapping the dats means that all galkas will turn into whatever you're changing to, until you decide to manually switch it back XD probably not that much of a loss if you're that sick of galka butt :P
