Move servers then, plenty of LS still recruiting or doing things in the game. I've seen plenty of people in Abyssea on my server. There are still shouts and people willing to join them as well.

I am not worried about Abyssea gears - I can do this all day long all the time forever lol. Or Voidwatch gears. Problem is SoA content is mostly delve now and plasm farming. There are still quite a great deal number of people who are left in the dust, and their only way to progress is by adding those intermediate gears obtained through bayld and wildskepeer reive to bridge the gap between anything else pre-SoA to somewhat decently able to contribute in SoA contents.

The original goal of SoA is to do gear progression slowly step by step by doing all the other contents before Delve, which at this point the elite majority deemed worthless. And suck to be you if you are trying to even do those content to catch up, which is a shitty attitude as these players are trying to catch up and shorten the gaps.

Problem is, if you left the game since SoA launch, you are left behind period. I rather stick in Bahamut and just find new people to do things together. There quite a few pre-SoA gears for mages that are still good. Considering healer and support are the two jobs that are dwindling, it's not bad idea to focus. Worst comes to worst, stay for the bonus logging events and take another break from FFXI in August lol.

Indeed, my question is, do I need to raise the rank within the Peacekeeper Coalition or mostly Adoulin rank by doing more quests to raise it up. The level 106 sash does not show up on my list, someone mentioned that I need to rank up. And Lair's Reive is the least popular one.

I am not all about plasm farming or go home attitude considering there are tons of quests added on Adoulin. There is Mog Garden (which its sole purpose to fill your inventory with useless crap lol). And then the freebies from just logging in once a day.

The gear will be available when the Coalition gets Rank 4, not you personally, so it just needs to lvl up, but this can only happen once a week when the Conquest Standing Resets.

As for raising your personal Rank, you could probably solo the Lair Reives on BST or SMN by just throwing your pet at a Hive while you sit back and watch. After the recent changes to some of the Reives, other jobs could probably solo or at least duo the Lair Reives in the zones closest to town. I think there's only 3 or 4 mobs per Reive now and they take a minute or two to repop after being killed, so the fights are a lot easier. The mobs are pretty squishy too, but they can still hit kind of hard.

Thanks for the information - I guess everyone in Bahamut need to spam Lair Reives. Yes the Lair Reive only have 2 type of mob, 3 mobs plus the Lair itself. It is very duo-able but sloooow, beastmaster is probably the best job to solo considering you loose your sneak + invisible as Summoner and have to constantly moving around to avoid aggroing the other three mobs nearby. Maybe it's time to random shout for Lair Reive lol. I pretty much spam the delivery one, since it's easy to do back and forth. Maybe I will persuade those people still on the fence doing Abyssea stuffs to do more SoA, hope they enjoy spamming roots lol.
