I use SwitchMon to toggle windows with R1 button, google FFXISwitchMon v1.1.0 . I realize its not an ingame option but it works.

Switchmon is open source, so someone could take it and modify it to work with a key press.

just DLd this and it crashes on open - any ideas? do i need to start it before im logged in? (w7 64 bit)
