I legit squeed like an Asian school girl when I heard "Faaaaaaalcon!" So now my heart is at ease that he is finally back. Now for my main Ness to come in some awesome trailer can't wait :)
Sad that Chrom is only a cameo in Robin's Final Smash but I guess there was too many sword wielders as is. Robin looks really unique with spells not being unlimited and having to swap out tomes. As well as covering melee range with his/her sword.  Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening    Chrom will be a Final Smash Character.

What's the story on male/female robin ?
*never played a FE game. I haven't played FE Awakening, but you might as well look here if you wish to know. They're nicknamed Avatar but Robin is their real name.

This is amazing! I really did not expect to see more Fire Emblem characters after they announced Ike/Marth and am so happy they added in the awakening characters. Also Falcon vs Lucina is hilarious.

When I saw the Tactician I was all excited then they hood came off and it said Robin... Who the hell was Robin!? I am disappoint.
Falcon being back is great still waiting on not fat-n-slow Ganondorf. I liked the fact that Captain Falcon was basically kicking their ***.
Falcon is the real hero we needed!

Ness will definitely return due to his unique play style as for Lucas I'm not too sure they might bring someone else from the Mother series. Though maybe so that they have at least 2 from each franchise. If I had to pick someone... Hmm... Starman. But since his name is to close to the item maybe Flint.
Kumatora could work too for more female characters as well as someone who is mostly magic based. Masked Man/Claus would be great too as I have stated before. Oooh, Lucina? I am excite.

 Mewtwo's playstyle was upheld though. I'd be fine if they did that.

I was semi-expecting Robin (avatar) but not Lucina.
Pretty happy how they made Robin's moveset; I'm digging using all those tomes =D (always been a fan of FE magic). Sakurai said they've reached near the bottom of the newcomer videos so that could either mean two things: 1) There will be only 1 or 2 more newcomer videos left prior to release. 2) There are more then a few newcomers left, but only 1 or 2 will get a video. Any others will be secret unlockables in the game and won't be revealed before release. I'm hoping it's the latter :v Hoping for a bad guy collection video. One with multiple bad guy character intros.

Given how Lucina introduced herself as Marth in Awakening, how the end of her intro card was a ?!, and how the moves she does during her gameplay portion in the trailer look like they're the same as Marth's abilities I wouldn't be surprised if Lucina was just an alternate costume for Marth.

I just don't see why Chrom couldn't be an alternate costume for Lucina though. Would of been nice.
I wanted Hector ; ; The total roster is currently 36 so I don't for see too many more entries. Unless Sakurai wanted to tease us all saying the roster was somewhere in between Melee and Brawl and pulls out the biggest roster yet. He does seem like that type of person. Holding out hope for Metroid getting more representation, even if its just a Space Pirate.
Zant or Vaati would be awesome surprises for a Zelda entry. Ganondorf having his own moveset would be you know... nice. So many people were dieing for Roy (Marth Clone) and Toon Link (Link Clone) back. People still want Mewtwo (Samus Clone) and Lucas (Ness Clone). I really wouldn't call Mewtwo a Samus clone.

Hope the baby cast stays in Mario kart, they are dumb.
I'm sure there will be some veterans and newcomers unannounced until they are unlocked, can't ruin all the fun right? Ridley's model doest really work as a playable chara, can still see him as a boss ?

I'd say Lucario was more of a Mewtwo clone then Mewtwo being a Samus clone.
I really don't know why Toon Link is his own character. He should just be an alternate costume for Link. Lucas had some unique Psi attacks Ness could never learn due to the fact they weren't invited in Moter 2 but I never saw him as his own character as well. Could just make him also an alternate costume with specials and smash weapon changed. As well as his grab. All of my +s for the baby cast never catching on in Smash. Would ruin it. As well as the Koopalings. There is already a crap ton of Mario characters. If they feel the need to add more then Nintendo give the people what they want and get together with Square and bring Geno and Mallow!  |
