I'm sure we got some NFL fans in this community I was wondering the following things:

1. Who is your team?

2. Who do you want them to draft?

3. Who do you think they'll end up drafting tonight?

I’ll start:

1. I’m a Dolphins fan

2. They need a left tackle since they lost Jake Long to free Agency

3. I think they might trade up (since they have 2 second rounders / 2 third rounders) and maybe taking one of the good LT.

1. Chiefs fan
2. They need a tackle, especially if they do in fact trade Alberts to the Dolphins.
3. Leon Sandcastle, duh; ok, Eric Fisher. As a senior, I think he'll be a better immediate fit as oppose to Joeckel who made need a year or two to fully develop his skills to an NFL set.

Also, on your Buffalo pick there I think Maroney would prefer Barkley to Nassib; as odd as that sounds, Barkley carved Syracuse up last year and Maroney has kept that under advisement.

Ninurta - I think the Dolphins don't want to give up a 2nd rounder for Alberts - do you think they'll take a 3rd rounder and trade him to the Dolphins?

Why be so angry? Football is dangerous, but it's not a fight to the death - it's not even a fight at all. And rather than attaching razors, football players attach safety equipment to their bodies. On an amateur level, football is a great place to learn all kinds of thing about life. Football can be common ground and bring together people that would otherwise never get the chance to know one another. Don't be so mad!

Can't blame the poor guy for being bitter - The Bluejays are one of worse teams in the American league.

Alberts is an immediate starter on any team, so I don't believe so; however, if they're successful in talking Lilja out of retirement, I could see an early third, possibly, but I still think it's a stretch.

Why be so angry? Football is dangerous, but it's not a fight to the death - it's not even a fight at all. And rather than attaching razors, football players attach hard helmets to their bodies so they can be used as battering rams, causing bang-bang collisions on nearly every play, which causes the brain to ricochet inside the skull cavity, which leads to long-term degenerative brain damage including CTE, alheizmers, and dementia. On an amateur level, football is a great place to learn all kinds of thing about life. Football can be common ground and bring together people that would otherwise never get the chance to know one another. Don't be so mad!

FTFY. Not being mad (used to be a big fan, actually), but it's an incredibly dangerous sport, do some reading about micro-concussions (which is mostly players colliding helmets on the line of scrimmage) in football.

Football isn't even the most dangerous sport, but that point aside, every sport has the propensity to be dangerous. Football is no more human-cockfighting than is that UFC crap people are so interested in.

No, that's actually not fixed for me. Because something is hazardous doesn't make it evil. Especially now that everyone is working harder than ever to keep players safe both during and after football. Doesn't matter though; don't need to let Chicken Little distract adults from enjoying watching other adults doing what they choose to do.

As far as the draft goes, I'm a Broncos fan, and I just feel like we're gonna be surprised, in the first round at least. The most glaring holes are either linebacker (age) or DE (fax) but I get the feeling it's they're going to try to get ahead of the Champ Bailey problem and draft a cornerback high, especially if someone like Rhodes magically is still available. That being said... they'll probably draft anyone that's unexpectedly available. I really have no idea how it's gonna turn out haha.

You guys are so close – I would say maybe trade up and pick up Xavier Rhodes.

First mock draft I've seen with Tavon going over Geno.

I've been a 49er fan for a long time, but since moving to San Diego, I'm trying to be a Charger fan. College is a different story - I am a huge WVU fan (alma mater) and Marshall fan (sister's alma mater). I predict a ton of trades in this draft. Mad love for the lineman!

If Tavon or Geno (doubtful) go to the Chargers, I will become an instant fan.

Colts picking a flanker is way off. They are stacked in that department. Cornellius Carradine, Florida State. DE/OLB. They don't call him "Tank" for nothing, the guy is absolutely devastates o-lines and brings a pass rush increase the colts defense desperately needs. Most teams put 2 people on each of the colts current DE's, (Freeny & Mathis) Having to deal with a powerhouse like Carradine would increase every aspect of their defense.

49ers.
I'd like em trade a bunch of picks to move up and get Travon Austin. We don't got the room for all those picks anyways.
I like Mayocks pick of Zach Ertz TE. Replace Delaine Walkers roll.

1. Panthers

2. They really need a WR since Steve Smith is getting up there... However, I personally hope they don't take one this year. I'd much rather them take a Defensive Lineman since this draft is stacked at that position.

3. Sheldon Richardson... I hope

I always get a little excited when I see a sports related thread pop up in here. Nice to know there are a few others here who enjoy sports as well.

I'm a Titans fan.
I'd like to see us draft defense in the first round. I like Sharrif Floyd if he's there at 10, Milliner would be a steal as well. I think we'll probably go with Mingo or Floyd if they are available.

I'm usually wrong about the Titan's draft anyway. They make odd picks. Would have sworn they were going after Chandler Jones last year (which the should have) but went Kendall Wright instead. Not saying it was a bad pick but I'd have loved a chance at Tavon Austin this year.

cowboys fan here/, but I think im going to give up on them, until romo is no longer the quarterback, which for some reason is going to be 6more years, since they gave him a new contract....

Kinda nice to see Lineman in the 1st draft section, lineman don't get enough fame/credit imo

3. They'll probably take an OL. They've taken at least one in every year of the draft so far I read somewhere. Long was a big loss so they probably would do well to address the need.

So do the Blue Jays...who trades for a 38 year old knuckleballer and brands him their ace? You guys got fleeced. D'Arnaud is a stud. Dickey is overrated and the Mets look shrewd for selling high on him. Last year was an obvious outlier to anyone that has ever actually played the game (your GM is 35, which means he couldnt cut it as an athlete and probably sucked at the sport for which he gets paid to evaluate talent).

They go for the best on the board. That being said it will probably be the best OL on the board. Titans fan as well.
