I can do buff/debuffs, but I will have to go through the resources and make a list of which is a buff and which is a debuff, so it will take some time.

SE does not send the "wears off" messages to players that don't need to display it.

I think that and most of the other problems reported in this thread should be fixed now.

I also added condensation for "wears off" messages.

New List of known problems/to-dos:

* The "__damage" colors don't do anything, but have been left in the settings file for potential future uses.
* Somehow add a filter for monsters that you are currently fighting?
* Add a filter to change the color when debuffs vs. buffs wear off
* Filter for item usage
* Filter for "gains the effects of" messages
* Need to incorporate Resist vs. Normal AoE buff pools when there's a mix.
* I need to try and integrate SE's chat filters into this.
* Add past tense status effects to the resources somehow.
* Check whether I can determine if a monster is stunned or not following an attack (reaction parameter)
* Differentiate "good" and "bad" status effects.
* Combine damage from attack rounds into the same line

LuaCore or Hook related problems:
* Using //bm colortest and then expanding your chat log on small window size clients (640x480) can cause crashes? (Your guess is as good as mine)
* Many usable weapons do not show up due to next() corruption issues? -- work-around implemented (thanks Arcon!)

Battlemod problems:
* Healing additional effects show up if healing is set to true, though they probably shouldn't.
* Condense settings don't really work when they're turned to false. (Consider reinstating the colorful setting?).
* Fix the grammar. (Low priority because it would be very hard to do.)
* Find out if there's any way to differentiate absorbing TP moves from TP moves that happen to heal you.
* Damage to Luopans may not be filtered properly?

Unreplicated bugs:
* Mining/Harvesting may be affected in some way?

when i steal cells with thf in ARI i get a lua error aswell, but dont remember which and wont be doing it again soon :x

Fixed just now? I just redownloaded about 3 hours ago with no luck, still spamming the console with errors 452, 141 and 145

Yeah, 141 and 145 errors are resources issues that should go away when they are updated.

452 is weird and I have personally never seen it. It should be caused when things wear off.

Not sure if this is a BattloMod problem or what... But I recently reformatted my computer, reinstalled everything... And all my NPC's and Mobs are named incorrectly, both on the screen and chat log. For instance, I am looking at a Butterfly named "Ladybug Gold r57 03" and this is happening with everything. It'll show the wrong name, and some numbers after their wrong name. Suggestions?

What is the filter for a charmed player hitting you? I don't want to see everyone's damage on the mob, but I'm interested in knowing how hard someone is hitting me and how often I'm evading, neither of which show up in my log. I seem to be missing some "wears off" messages, but not all of them, and I have no idea why and I can't remember which ones (I don't use spellcast.)

I still haven't gotten a chance to test the Impetus thing. I don't know which chat log would handle player vs. player damage. There might not actually be one right now <_<! I can make that later. I haven't gotten a chance to go get doomed yet.

The weird name problem is not from Battlemod.

I've made changes to dialog4.xml so that when the resources are updated the 141/145 problems with battlemod will be fixed. I made changes to my own resources files and confirmed that they will work.

That would have nothing to do with battlemod if it's showing on the screen too. It sounds like you may need a reinstall if a filecheck doesn't fix it.

Currently only showing one or two messages of "Sneak/Invis is wearing off" with the second message usually occuring AFTER sneak/invis wears off. Caused me to get agro twice last night. Also, I don't seem to be getting any "(song) wears off" messages at all, which makes it kind of hard to keep the right songs on the right people.

Having an issue with changing Battlemod Filters, keeps saying N++ that it's in use by another program. Closed down everything that could be using it, restarted PC and tried changing it then before launching anything but it won't let me edit it.
Any clue?

Hi Byrth,

A suggestion: give us a unique filter for turning off sambas, and possibly en-damage.

Or you could make it so it says:

Actor 128 hit Target -> (+22)

where 22 would be the enspell damage.

Or, if absorbs are healing the target, it might say

Actor 128 hit Target -> (-22)

Hmm... I will add that to the list. For the record, I haven't abandoned this project but work and general lack of playtime has forced me away from it at the moment. I'm working 10-14 hour days and doing basically one plasm-related event a night, so I don't have much time to test. This weekend is also going to be taken from me by family related stuff.
