Laptop Trouble

Well i've got an LG R400 series laptop with upgraded ram to 2.5GB...
The problem ive started getting with it, is that when i run FFXI
after 5-10 minutes it suddenly brings a pop-up telling me its going into
hibernation, whether i click yes or no it will still shut down.
Ive turned off all settings that shut the computer or put it to sleep.

Ive replaced the fan as well thinking that was the reason for it shutting down but it hasnt seem to have changed ne thing..

My laptop will only do this when running ffxi lol and its starting to piss me off

Anyone got a f'ing clue what is rong wid my laptop, (its has pretty good specs)

Keep it plugged in to the wall?

That is strange... you checked all your battery settings? Like make sure that while plugged and unplugged you get more than 15 mins, and warnings and stuff (mines set so only hibernates at 5% battery, and warnings at 10 and 15%, etc)

Also, do you have it fullscreen? like is it windowed (either official or unofficial), or is it completely fullscreen?

And... has this always happened? not sure if its a brand new comp, and you just started using it and its happening from start, or like a year old and suddenly new issue (after upgrading or whatever)?

Yep ive set it, so that it never hibernates or sleeps, and always happens while it is plugged in

The laptop is about 1.5 - 2 years old, and only started happening in the past couple of months, at first it would do it, then i could start up again and play for couple days before it happens again.. But now, after 10 mins of playing ffxi it shuts down everytime

*Edit* I use an Unofficial windower, but also happens with official windowed mode

Is this Windows Vista, XP or 7? 32 or 64? Not sure if it matters yet, but it could help narrow down the problem.

Power management is commonly affected by graphics drivers, and since laptops are known to have crap support for graphics drivers in the first place it may be a good start. Do you know what the laptop uses for graphics? Video card or integrated? Brand and model name along with driver version if you can find the information.
