"A colonization rate exists to measure how much of the wilderness has been settled, and it fluctuates depending upon how often pioneers fulfill the various coalitions' assignments."

^ Taken from the SoA website

Scouts' Coalition
Signboard
Ionis - Minor Conserve MP Effect
Bonus - NPCs for colonization intelligence will increase

I wonder what these NPCs will tell us. Maybe something like "We are doing well in colonizing ulbuka, but unfortunately the [Coalition] needs help in [assignment]."

If we are going the 'all coalitions help our colonization %' route. Either that, or just spam more reives/courier assignments that we havnt unlocked yet

Anyone have any idea how much the Reive Unity key item boosts you during reieves?

http://wiki.bluegartr.com/bg/Scaredy-Cats

Assuming Ionis and Reive Unity it must be something worthwhile :|

You get bonuses after killing an Enemy or some other triggers afaik...

Gives HP Restore
MP Restore
Stoneskin
Damage Reduction
"Monster Slaying" (???)
Attack Boost
Accuracy Boost
Skillchain Accuracy
300% TP
Job ability restore
Max HP/MP Boost
Elemental Resistance
Status Restoral

----

As far as potency, I think Max HP/MP is about a 10% Boost, Stoneskin I believe is a normal full potency (350)... No idea the acc/atk Bonuses saddly.

Unity gives you a TON of useful buffs at random times from my experience trying to solo reives on PLD, while other players state the buffs are given out per mob kill.

I've seen HP Recovery / TP Recovery / MP Recovery / JA Resets / Damage Taken / HP Max Up just off the top of my head.

Matsui really seems to want players to progress through the quests and missions this time around for the expansion, as well as people being active and unlocking coalition buffs for Ionis for some of the content, if I recall his words right about why they balanced the payouts on Reives.

Do you have to deal the finishing blow or is it for anyone killing, and if not do you just have to be on the hate table or get the killing blow?

I would love to try and seek these answers by searching forums but there are so many threads at this point with billions of pages sometimes.

I dont think so... Though, maybe its both, Time based and Enemy Kill.

Without fail I get 1-2 Buffs when an Enemy is defeated. So much so several people MS Fell-Cleave burn the Enemies down banking one of their defeats restoring 2hour.

Perhaps you just dont realize people are killing enemies when you receive the bonuses? Cause even if you never fight the enemy, everyone in the battle gets the bonus. Killing an Enemy could also just reduce the Time Intervals if it is so time based.

I've done Col Reives with a PLD friend in Hennetiel, just us 2 in the Area, he supertanking all the enemies, me cutting downt he palm, we got stuff over time. It might be over progress of cutting down the objective, but I'd rather say it's time based. Order of the benefits seems to be the same or at least about the same everytime.

I had gotten a wind geode during wind weather here so it's possible you can get both?
