It's only on one piece Org. I'm guessing it's for holy bolts, since there is a new xbow from one of the new beastmen kings.
MND is also a mod on quite a few 1h sword WS.
Yeah, they are good for requi (1 of the 7), though I'm not sure it's close to Thaumas which I'm praying RUN gets put on. 2 of which are rdm and/or pld specific (death blossom and KoR), so RUN MAY have access to 5/7, though I'm guessing they still might not get swift blade since their main weapon is gonna be Gsword anyways.

In b4 the stats get changed on the final release tomorrow. SE pulling out an early April fool joke.

RUN also gets white magic (Flash, at least), so it makes sense they'll get some MND on some of their gear.

RUN needs to be put on Phorcys >_>' RUN will prolly be on both the light and heavy armor sets in these items. Since they showed both on two separate RNF.
If they arent on Twilight set im gunna cry myself to sleep in a ball :(

Mother... of god at those stats.
Dunno if I'm happy or sad, atm I'm just confused and shocked.
Wasn't expecting these sets to be THAT good.
In before they're not as easy to obtain as the Teal/Pearle/etc sets.
Kariyeh => PLD, DRK, SAM, DRG, WAR, RUN... BST?
Thurandaut => MNK, NIN, DNC, THF, RNG, COR, BLU... PUP?
Orvail => WHM, RDM, BLM, BRD, SMN, SCH, GEO
PUP could be on Orvail instead (let's hope no!) and BST could be on Thurandaut instead of Kariyeh.
Or they could go the Abyssea way and let PUP and BST be on multiple sets, which is the best choice of course.
PUP was on both Aurore and Teal, and BST was on both Pearle and Arurore, for instance.
Someone please help me define good pieces, I might be missing some jobs or some other item:
Kariyeh
Head: Meh
Body: Good alternative for who doesn't have Phorcys?
Hands: Uh... Upheaval? Frankly I think there are better 4% haste TP options
Legs: Not as good as augmented Tenryu+1 maybe, but looks like a really solid WS option at least for SAM and WAR? (upheaval)
Feet: Don't think it's better than Unkai/Omodaka for SAM, but it's a decent option and maybe Upheaval for WAR?
Thurandaut
Head: Awesome for Jin, decent option for Vsmite, Shijin, and other WSs. Could be nice for TPing on DW jobs according to the bonus, and supposing the job can keep a reasonably high amount of haste from the other slots.
Body: Good option for Smite, at least with Impetus down. Might be a decent alternative to Athos/Loki for Hi. Some jobs might even enjoy TPing in it
Hands: Uh... Shun/Hi?
Legs: Ergh... maybe Hi?
Feet: Uhm... awesome for Chakra and that's it?
Orvail
Head: Heal/MNDdebuffs option, good alternative to Marduk+1 for BRD debfuffs
Body: Helix maybe?
Hands: Helix? BRD debuffs?
Legs: precast, helix, INT debuffs?
Feet: MND debuffs? Kinda spits on Nares...
Some really nice options there.
Bit unconvinced by Orvail overall, but Thurandaut and Kariyeh have some really interesting options.
That's supposing they will be reasonably easy/fast to obtain.
I remember for instance the first 3 sets of ToAU, those took quite a good amount of grind back when Exp was released to be obtained.

Kari feet are like god.... best for reso best for cdc (huginn is still out of reach for MANY MANY players) There is no way dilarams are superior to these and these even beat hecatomb +1 with 4 str
Body needs to be mathed I assume itl be close call between it > phorcys for ws like ukkos but for resolution i think phorcys is still going to win.

Thanks SE for giving us a WS that would have been awesome back when the job didn't have Stringing Pummel but still refused to give it to us.
Or when PUP could have been awesome for proccing stuff in Abyssea.
Thanks for giving it to us NOW that nobody needs it anymore.
Thanks for trolling us!
/rantover
In all seriousness I guess it could give PUP a bit more space for easy VW where you need someone to proc H2H?
Doesn't seem a big change, but I guess it's better than nothing.

There are several weapons that follow the pattern of the H2H...really high dmg, elemental resist, stat bonus
I'd be willing to bet that they will be difficult to obtain

Those are much more comparable to Spharai in damage, delay, and ws you'd be using with them than they are to Verethragna.

Even if they're a 0.0000001% drop rate it still feels like a kick in the balls.

Even if 99 beats it now, the writing on the wall is pretty clear if these are the day one out of the box weapons.
To be honest, 99 holders have more to lose when they do start releasing the stuff that curbstomps R/E/M.
