When To Gear Swap Out After Blood Pact?

So basically, I'm wondering at what point I can swap out of my BP set, really. Do I just need it for when I use the BP, or do I have to keep it on until the avatar finishes readying it and gets it off?

Here's how the sequence works.

Macro in -BP gear, activate the bloodpact.

Macro in Bloodpact enhancing gear (Such as Esper Earring, AF3+2 set, blah blah) within 1-2 second after activating the bloodpact

Macro in Avatar Idle gear after you see the bloodpact animation go off.

Ideally you should have 3 sets that you swap in/out.

Right, I just wasn't sure if my character's BP animation or my avatar's is what counts as far as macroing back into my Perp/Idle set. Still kind of confused which animation you're talking about.

Am I good to gear swap after I do my little generic JA chest thrust animation, or do I have to wait until the Avatar actually uses its BP?

If you use text based macros this is how it would look:
/console exec smn/bp.txt
/pet "thunderstorm" <t>
/wait 1
/console exec smn/mab.txt
/wait 4
/console exec smn/idle.txt

This macro will give you 45 second bp timers and swap in pet magic attack bonus for the actual bloodpact. Then put you back in idle set after the bloodpact is finished.
