You can do 2-7 forever, and always get that same 308 exp(with four allies). There's no quest that is better for exp grinding as far as I remember.
There are some others that are decent(24-6 I think, been awhile) but everything past chapter 4(or 5) has a 5 minute cool down, and nothing will give close to the amount of exp per minute that 2-7 does.
Best Ally point grinding spot as well I guess, all because of the timer.

You can make normal progress in quests with cards of that level though, easily up to Chapter 22-23. I wouldn't worry about being useful to your allies right now, if you grind to much early on you'll probably burn yourself out fast. The game is nothing but grinding in between events(Though no downtime between those lately) and for events. But there's really no story or anything, so not missing out on a ton by just grinding away. My Abel is 128 and I still grind 2-7. Like people said the 2-7 grind never stops. I like 2-7 mostly because of the no cooldown. Once I finish I usually have like between 5-10 seconds before doing it again. Other people who dont want to or cant spend every second at their phone sometimes do other quests with a 5 min cooldown but give higher EXP. Sometimes you have to do a tutorial and restart the offer-game. Some games I have played you just have to start up and get them right away (Marvel something something and Transformers). One game I picked had a 1 hour playtime requirement for like 25 coins >< I know this sounds dumb... but do i need to wait for the pop up "play blahblah and get X mobcoins"? or can i cheat and just jump to the offer games. (im sure some sort of referral links needed anyway but figured id ask!)
Gave up on this event. First couple of days I got up to Rank 943. This morning I woke up to 4557 :/
WTB Normal BT Event, so I can just spam that one quest and get 900+ BT each time. I might get a 5* that way. IIRC Zande was from such an event, for like 800,000 BT. They have sooooo many card games too. Makes you realize the epic assload of cash they make off of these games. It is seriously painful to think about. Blood brothers, Fatal frontier and The powerful.... Seriously... all just clones with different art. Even the tutorial units even have the exact same skills. Same battles blahblah. Lazzzyyyyyyyyyy
On another note.... Some random giving my alt free cards... Nothing super OHMYGOD amazing, but free 4*s.... not sure why... So, current progress:
Level 33 Lvl 23 Virgil, Helmut, Gleb, Dhimitrios (all 4*) Lvl 11 Pegasus (I assume if I get a 4* monster I should enhance it?) Beat Mina's/Helmut's boot camps 100% Cleared Episode 8 for missions Cleared Training up to 7-2 So my question is, what's the progression like from here? In terms of acquiring more 4*+ characters, doing battles (I have 2 artifact sets but don't have the option to steal more anymore), developing my monsters, etc. As you progress in the chapters more artifacts open up
In terms of battling its only real purpose is for a skill which requires 300 Battles (maybe wins not sure..) I wouldnt really bother with monsters too much at the moment, unless they are new, your not gonna stop them till you dedicate alot of resources into enhancing monsters and id wait till you at least get stray cat (from mystic incence artifact). At first I wanted new 4*s badly, but with the constant events and various rewards from twitter/daily/mobacoin offers. You get quite alot of 4* building up, I just tried to pick a lead and get it higher so its was useful for allies. FInally get a king on my main and all I have are *** allies that think its fantastic to leave some *** lvl 20 elf as their lead. I get that elf leads can mean finding more bosses but they completely *** everyone else that helps them out. Level the god damn card if you HAVE to have it as a lead.

Anyone care to explain rq how feeder cards work or whatever? I tried reading about it and there are all kinds of Valkyrie bonuses or something.

Valkyrie things a bonus in skills, just adds 1-10% additional exp based on level. After about level 15, feeding stuff 1* cards becomes abit expensive. Enhance 2*/3* with 1* till level 10. then feed them to your higher level cards. or something like that :< put 1* cards into 2* cards til they are lvl 10. If you have no points in the skill that gives more xp from a card when you put it into another, it'll prolly take like 20 1* to make a 2* card lvl 10.
3* cards should be lvl 20. Off the top of my head, idk how many 1* it takes to go from 1-20. The more cards you feed at one time, the cheaper it'll be. Like if you feed five 1* into a lvl 1 2* card, then go back and feed the rest you need to make it lvl 10, you'll spend more luna. Not a ton, but it adds up so try and make sure you have enough to get the levels you need at once time. People use feeder cards because it means they don't have to spam 2-7 for some xp. You'll see people talking about feeder sets. A set is five cards (because that's all you can trade at 1 time) that are leveled up. Five lvl 10 2*, five lvl 20 3*, five lvl 40 4*. THose are feeder sets. You can make sets and sell them. 2* set is only gonna get you luna, 3* can get you 1-2 TE, 4* can get you like 2-5 TE (i see way too many prices on those). Word. Well, gonna be grinding a lot today since FFXI appears to be unplayable atm, High-lvl Allies - points incoming!
Also, I saw you say you aren't really worth much as an ally now. Untrue for a couple of reasons, the main one being ally points. When you use one of us in a quest or other fight, we get 10 points sent to us. Most all of us need the points still, so it's very helpful. 10 doesn't sound like a lot but it can add up quick.

The only good allies I even have are you guys and a couple off my list. The ones the event gives you all *** suck. One of them has a god damn 2* as a lead... I hate events that stick you with dipshits. 1600 rank when I woke up, now I'm almost 2500 because I can't kill lvl 60 bosses in 2 tries. By the time event ends, I'll prolly be out of prize rank.
How do you find those people Spoons? I don't have a single person on my ally list that has ever done such a thing but from past wall posts it seems like that happens frequently with your allies :C
