This sounds like a great deal. I wish this was on Shiva. My inventory space disagrees though :P

With the cruor surplus nowadays, you can do this trial with brews. I did this with 2 other mages in this very camp, and finished the entire trial in 3 brews. Sadly, we brew locked, which isnt possible anymore. If you got nothing else to do with cruor, its an option, although no longer an efficient one.

Right.
The man was asking why people weren't interested in his service.
If people are not interested, I can certainly respect that. May I ask why?
@baronton
When someone is trying to explain something to you, such as a question you personally asked yourself, and you opt disregard it, try to justify your offer to yourself, and/or worst yet, simply repeat your points over again, you're not doing yourself any favors.
Your deal wasn't exactly complicated. We understood it the first time.
What you should have said was, "Oh, so that's why people aren't interested in this offer." If you're feeling nice, you can throw in a 'Thanks for telling me" at the end.
But again, what reason did you really give? People are interested despite your reasons. I am not trying to find reasons to tell you that you are wrong. There are people out there willing. I feel that you just want to shoot this down for some reason.

I think people who are interested in paying have already gotten in contact with you, and it's rather moot to find out why people aren't interested, as there are a ton of reasons, and you're not going to convince someone to fork over gil if they're not convinced already. You don't need to keep bumping your post; you'd probably be better off shouting on your server now (if you aren't already).

Yea, haven't shouted yet. I will do that. I am bumping for obvious reasons. Some people log on and only look at the front page. And I have only bumped twice I think (maybe three times). Anyway, I will shout tomorrow. Tonight has come to a close. Thank you for your input.

Right.
The man was asking why people weren't interested in his service.
So you wanna play this game? Take quotes out of context to try and be cute? No, he was asking why in response to all the negativity. Is this really worse than someone using third party tools to try to sell NNI clears? Just move on dude. You don't think anyone will pay for it. We get it.
See now you're trying to have some sort of conversation with him explaining why he should just call it quits and not bother. Must be hard to be jealous of people in a video game so much. Anyway , i'm through with your idiocy.
Back to him offering people that actually want him to complete their magian nuking staves.

Cutting the price in half. That goes for the few interested thus far. 550k per staff. I hate to cancel on the few interested. I just can't spend 9+ hours a day for 1ish mil. If that is insensitive, I apologize. If I cut the price in half maybe I can get 10ish people. Also, selling individual trials at the new rate.
/tell me in game or PM me here if interested.

For most trials, if you had a blu go along he could pull and kill Aoe for all trials more efficent then even a blm for mos staves.
Thunder, Fire, Wind, Water. Earh is tricky but doable. Only Ice is truely hard to do for a blu.
Pull CW, + Spell + elemenatl "AoE death spell" for MoT. Repeat.
Reverse this is it is thunder staff.
Sometimes you can pull 20-30 mobs at once, toads, birds, clusters, rapters, detectors.

I appreciate the sentiment. Getting nothing on my server, unfortunately.

So today I took advantage of Baronton's services as a merc for the magian staff trials (the ice one in particular) and I wanted to comment on how it went. This would be his first time out as a merc for these particular trials and I must say that I am pleased overall with what happened.
First, I appreciated his professionalism. He kept his promise of the price @550k and the amount of time it would take. Sure, it took hours, but these trials take time and I understood that coming in. I also understood his need to take breaks and handle his business. I was never forced to sit around at my computer and watch him do his thing. I simply followed him to camp and he took care of the rest. I would check in every 10-15 minutes (depending on the particular trial) to see the progress and whether the trial was completed. Aside from those times, I was able to do whatever things that I needed to get done around the house.
There were some hiccups at points. The weather trials in the beginning can be a pain, but for the most part were harmless. Once pass those, it was easy enough for him to gather mobs and lights in the Aby areas and aga>sleep>aga without any casualties or close calls. He was well-geared so it was easy enough for him to do. Since this was his first experience with this, it did take him a little time to get used to some camps and to discover the best way to approach a particular trial with links/aggro/pulling (particularly the lizards and wyverns), but once he got those down, it was smooth sailing. I imagine if he were to do this again at another point, it would be much faster than it was today.
Anyways, I was able to get my ice staff today and I am thankful for his services and definitely got my money's worth. I would/am taking advantage of his services for the thunder staff trial as well.
I plan on mercing 6 (leaving out dark and light) Magian staves in 7-9 days. I will charge 1.1 M per staff. All the buyer has to do is move from camp to camp (and have the ability to get to the camps). I understand that this alone at least requires having access to your character throughout the day. Because of that, I understand this is not for everyone. I wish it was as easy as a FC leech party. Obviously, it is not.
That, being said, I still know there are people out there who hate grinding trials, who have millions upon millions of gil and would like the staves with little to no work, who have work around the house or can check in at work from time to time, etc.
Anyway, I plan to do 1 staff per day (save fire staff). I would like to start this Thursday, morning sometime EST. I understand with only 3 days notice, I may not get as many people able to join. I do have a lot of time off of work coming up (about 2 weeks with a day here and there in which I need to be in). We may be able to work something out to benefit more people. Please PM me or /tell me in game if you are interested. PMing me here is your best bet, as I am AFK a lot in game.
Now let me get down to some details. There are 9 trials per staff that I am offering (geode trials are for you to work out). But all non-geode trials, I plan on finishing for all 6 (thunder, wind, fire, ice, water, and earth) staves. My loose plan is to get 1 staff done in about 10-12 hours. This is accounting for waiting for weather, moving camps due to overcrowding, etc. Hopefully I can finish them sooner. I will have 2 BLMs mostly againg down mobs. Some trials I expect to be a little slower (magic pots, non-abyssea areas, etc.). Most later trials will be done in abyssea, so restore chests and temp chests will speed things up considerably. The main BLM will be very well geared (Morrigan's +1 2/5, Nares 2/5, etc.).
I have chosen to break the cost down per trial, as D/Cs, RL, etc. will happen. There are 9 trials in all. The first two for each staff can very fast, as only 10 kills are required. However, there may be some waiting involved for weather. The second two trials have to be done on a specific day or with a specific weather. All of these except the fire staff, I plan to do under weather conditions. For the fire staff, I will start it on one day such that I can finish the 3rd trial on firesday, and then finish it the next day such that I will start on firesday. I can probably finish both the 3rd and 4th trial on one firesday. However, doing it this way will give me a small break from the grind, and prevent losing people from extended AFKs, etc.
With that, the breakdown is as follows: Trials 1-2: 50k, Trials 3-5: 100k, Trials 6-7: 150k, Trials 8-9: 200k. If you only need certain trials, and there is room, I am more than willing to let you in.
I have all the camps mapped out already. Access to the past is a must, and several abyssea confluxes are strongly recommended. I am still working on alternative camps in case camps are taken. I can discuss which confluxes will be needed if necessary. Again, I plan to start Thursday 2/14. The exact schedule will be worked out once members start being confirmed.
Please send me any questions, suggestions, or comments (assuming they are constructive). PM me, ask me in game if you can catch me, or just post here. I am sure I forgot something, and want to make all aspects of this clear and fair for all parties involved.
Thanks.
