Looking To Buy Glavoid Shells

As the title states, i am looking to buy glavoid shells to finish off my ukon. I have 37 shells left to go, and can pay a negotiable fee for it, as well as do some of the required smaller NM pop item farming for items like Smooth Whisker, Quivering Eft Egg, Cockatrice Tailmeat, and Resilient Mane.

Looking at an estimated cost of 300k-350k per shell, hopefully from a semi-large group.

Can we quit with the "I like to lowball aby mercs" threads? No one is going to sell you glav shells for a price that starts with 3 (unless you mean that you are providing all the AH pops).

If you want prices like that, go shout for spare pops.

Plenty of people selling them at that price on this server. If people are selling, no reason to increase the offer.

If people were selling them to him, I'd think he wouldn't still be bumping the thread/looking for a seller.

There's like 3-5 people on the server asking to buy for 350k. Personally know people have been selling off their spare pops for that price, though I agree if he wants them faster he'd be offering more than them.

I always saw people taking pops at 500k, not the single drops(and I would agree with that)...but whatever.

If you read carefully, you'll notice I already mentioned that he can get spare pops at that price (300ish per shell, not 300ish per pop). That is not a subject of disagreement.

Pops generally mean you're the one killing the glavs though, and I don't get the impression he wants to do that part.

People asking to buy at X != Mercs selling at X.

Flame all you want, Anesthesia, i am buying/farming almost all of the AH pop items. I had a seller selling me the shells individually for 250k each, instead of 350k, because i was providing the grunt farming for em. Not only that, i am also doing my part in the actual glavoid fight, either as tank, or as TH, so get your ***straight.

300-350k is a reasonable price on bismarck per shell, which is what the offer is, not 300-350k per pop.

You should take your own advice, and read.

Also, while there are a few people willing to sell, not that many people are willing to go out of their way to farm glavoid. Period.

Saying that you will provide some of the required pop farming is pretty vague/nonspecific. In your position, I'd make very clear exactly what I was/wasn't willing to do.

I also said in the OP, the fee is negotiable, before saying what i was ideally looking at. If it's a large enough quantity, i'd be willing to pay more for expediency.

As an aby merc, I can tell you that if someone on Carby just gives a downright insulting offer on an emp item, especially a Tahrongi path, I'm not going to bother contacting them to negotiate. It's generally much more profitable to do other paths, and there's no shortage of customers for them, so I'm not going to make the effort to bother haggling with someone for the "Privilege" of doing the least profitable/most painful path.

If I were in your position and willing to farm/buy pops, I'd put my best offer up front and make very clear that I was willing to farm pops, as opposed to a noncommittal offer.

You're also very unlikely to get a large group interested in helping you, especially at that price. Imagine spending hours farming one of the most annoying paths, then splitting 350k/shell six or more ways. That's basically nothing at all.

If you want to take that as "flaming," as opposed to advice, that is 1000% okay with me, godspeed and enjoy your lack of offers.

Let me break this down for you, since you failed to actually read the OP, and what was going to happen.

1. I am willing to farm/buy the Smooth Whisker/Resilient Mane for Luxurious Manticore Mane, and farm the Eft Egg/Quivering Eft Egg, and Cockatrice Tailmeat for the Fat-line Cockatrince Skin, while all the semi-large group had to do was proc the NMs.

2. By farming/buying the items, it reduces the time/effort of the group by nearly 70%

3. with all of that work already done, it should only take 15-20min per popset to make, and maybe another 20min or so (less if i use a brew) to kill Glavoid, which increases their profit ratio

4. if it "takes all night" to build and kill a satisfactory amount of pops, they aren't a group i would hire in the first place.

5. The "Can we stop lowballing abys mercs" *** comments from idiots like you, needs to stop. 350k per shell on bismarck is the going rate, if/when people have the set to sell. If things are more costly on your server, that's your server's issue, not bismarck's.

In a measly couple of hours, i would say 2, maybe 3, i should be getting roughly 8-16 shells or more. At 350k each, that is 2.8mil to 5.6mil for hardly any work. If that's insulting to you, or a group of people, kindly go sit on a rusty spoon covered in battery acid.

So you're willing to buy the pops.. and brew Glaviod? So you're paying 3XXk/shell for a red proc on 4 NM's?

I can understand why Bloodrose would do this. As much as I would love to finish off my Ukon, I almost never feel like camping the worm or gnat and as I only have me (nin) and a healing mule, every single time I get that damn message for ice or thunder red proc I seriously want to quit right then and there. Farming those pops takes almost no time at all and is mindless and I have like 40 brews between my and mules from PTs, NMs and VW. So again I can see paying someone to do the work you dont want to do/have the time for as im considering doing the same myself.
