Hey guys.

I just came back to the game and noticed when I auto-translate something it shows up in Japanese.

Is this normal or do I have a plug-in for a 3rd party program acting wonky?

I did not purposely load a plug-in with that feature, so it is something new FFXI did when I was away?

Sometimes the auto-translate glitches (I think it's a Windower problem) and any auto-translate comes out as the same phrase in Japanese. Some sort of error message from what I remember. A log out and restart should fix it if that's the problem.

You shouldn't be using any 3rd party plug ins. If you were on my server I'd report you to a GM

Yeah, I've seen this happen a couple times and that's all it took. But the very first time I ever saw it, the dude couldn't figure it out no matter what he tried, and ended up doing a full re-install. :\ It was never me, so sorry I couldn't be actually helpful.

normally i would say your right.But if this was the case 98% of the pc users on this game would be banned.

yes i know that number is random but you get the point.
