Thanks for the replies.
I got it to stage4 since my initial post and I agree with you, it's nice and useful. But for the most part it's not game changing, except in sortie where it seems to really shine.

This may be cognitive bias or something
Since my return to oddessy I feel like I reliably one shot mobs more consistently with it.

While maybe it was possible before.
