Give Black Mages tp based on magic, not a weapon since they rarely ever melee. On that note, perhaps a magic weaponskill like Meteor or Ultima (toned down, of course)

Which would be kinda cool if I stuck too 1 spell I guess lol. The special mtp to be used for help on your spells was kinda cool too

Yeah, something like that. Other than Spirit Taker, the weaponskills seems rather useless. Even with ST, you still have to melee, which is needlessly putting a blm in a position that they don't need to be in.

You've never seen it because it's incredibly mediocre. It'll add a little bit of damage to all spells because it doubles the modifiers on them, but that's not sufficient to justify its role as the BLU 2hr. It also gives a 350% TP modifier to all spells if Chain Affinity is used, but that's not as great as it sounds... only a handful of spells are "Damage varies with TP". Outside of epeen damage on SACA Cannonball it's hardly ever used.

I use it to zerg out like 3-4 spells. Part of it is not only the few spells it helps but its duration being so low

It's damage should be based on how low your health is, not how high. if your gunna use it to finish off a mob, it's because your dying and wanna go for the kill. theres nothing more disappointing than hoping to finish a mob and ending up doing like 100 damage.. Edit: i had an interesting idea for bst/pup/drg. they should have a .."friendship" level. something similar to Fellows. if you constantly have your pets killed/leaving them at low health, they start to dislike you, and may not obey. this would provide those jobs with a challenge not just to solo, but to ensure their pets are happy, via reward and spirit link, and whatever pups have.. (incase of confusion)like BST jugs wouldnt be based per jug used, but on the pet type.

So basically you could have 1 whm and a ***load of ninjas using poisonpots - prepping for Kirin. Pop him and make all Ninjas go Booooooom! Kirin go down inside 5 seconds o.o!!!!!!

Richard, yes, please gimp DRGs even further and make life more and more miserable in this game. Unless you say benefits of your proposition would be rather hefty, then yes - it has some potential in my opinion.

Kinda an interesting idea. Only drawback is when I 2hr @ 200hp on DRG tanking (I dont think there is one job I havent tanked with yet...). What happens next? My Wyvern refuses to come out cause he saved my *** and the PT's? Lethewaters: /ja "Call Wyvern" Ember refuses to come out. Lethewaters: WTF?!?

D: Given that a large part of BST soloing involves throwing pets at a mob... no, not really. Even with jug pets there are times when it's better to let it die and call out a new one. The complications involving DRG's 2hr have already been raised, and PUP has enough incentive to keep their auto alive as is.

Ok i have been playing for three years now and IMO i would like to see the following.
Ninja: A few new job abilities and traits. Heck maybe a spell to get hate better.
Blue Mage: A more indacation on how to learn spells.
Summoner: More Perp cost - gear. Granted the new update for them was awesome i would like to see there per tick cost go down more.
Warrior: The old tank now turned massive DD ummm ya i decent update would help this job a bit.
Merits: I would like to see more of the traits be able to be merited like conserv Mp and Magic ATK bonus to be examples. Heck maybe lower the cost of the Call wyvern ability.
Spells: i would like to see Whm with more merited spells like Town teles would be sorta nice. Nin's should get Utu San os something new since they really need it.
Random things: Lol a new craft would be awesome or like a menu showing you the % on the directions and HQ and such.
I no this thread is pretty long and maybe rediculas but this is whay i think SE should update.
