I'll admit I'm not crazy about full on PvP, but a duel system, with no penalties for KO, would be an awesome way to pass time waiting for events and such ^^
And not the goofy way FFXI does it now, I mean straight up 1v1 anywhere, anytime. Be a good way to solve camp disputes and such, too, if people were honorable about it...

Monks use to counter tank with a good set up, but with Aht Urghan it became a thing of the past, RIP MNK KRT PTs.
Also, would it be too much trouble to give Ninja kurayami: ni? I don't even care if it isn't much more effective than the ichi spell, I just want a faster casting Kuyrayami.

@Das, can you stop bitching about the latest RDM update? Actually read the thread and look how many jobs really are in need of an update, and compare it to how much RDM didn't need an update at all. Now take a closer look at the update, and think about what uses you COULD get out of it, instead of what uses you WISH you could get out of it. Go and grab yourself a ceremonial dagger, use all your new ***from the update and solo some mob with shitty tp moves.

If it wasn't for refresh rdm wouldn't get xp pts endgame events or even be able to solo. I did look at the update. Like the only update rdm has gotten in what 5+ years which makes it funny you should term it latest. When you can outdo a lvl2 spell with a lvl 1 one easy yeah then it is very fail. Also the whole point of soloing with ceremonial daggers is to not deal any melee dmg thereby not giving mob any tp. Obviously /nin for shadows therefor dualweild plus enspell1>>enspell2. And I would hardly call 1 line of useless spells and 1 decetn ja ALL that new ***. It's a slap in the face attempt to deliver updates that have had been being promised forever. I've yet to see a spell that will move rdm to the front lines like promised... how would you feel if blu didnt get any updates for years huh!?! And then when they do they give you complete crap? Fine hate on a good rdms ability to solo all you want. Give us something that is only useful in pt then. Hell make composure work for all buffs just not self buffs screwing up the cycle

Even with all the new jobs and other jobs getting updates over rdm, they're still one of the highest demand jobs in the game, yet you're complaining. Blu has a ***2-hour that needs and update, but it's a damn good all-rounded job without it, so it doesn't NEED an update and it wouldn't bother me if we never get one. I understand about you being disappointed that the only update you've gotten in years wasn't the game breaking update that you were hoping to be able to solo AV because of, but let's face it, there have been worse, and at least you didn't get nerfed. Also, since when does going /nin mean you can't use sword (or dagger) and shield?

I think DNC needs a lot of help. It can solo, but not as well as RDM... and it's a great healer... but only for the party the DNC is in. What I'd really like is some update that would make DNC helpful in an endgame situation. Anyway, these are a few things I personally think DNC should get, maybe not all of them but a few would be nice.. Better gear choices... Better weapon choices, but I can see why SE's trying to limit our TPing... I'd still love a multi-hit weapon that wasn't just a Joyeuse, though... Being able to cure outside of the DNCs immediate party (even if it's alliance only). Haste Samba being alliance wide (would be over-powered, but people would start bringing DNC to things!). Maybe a Divine Waltz II... Maybe put Healing Waltz into another JA category... Change the look of the AF to make the guys look less silly. <.<;

Why doesnt NIN have Jubaku: Ni? lol, I mean Maat uses it... mobs use it.. wtf? we get our last spell at like 48 Kurayami: Ni.
JA would be cool, like maybe something Eva boost for Pt and then Eva boost and Atk - for self, kinda like Warcry and Berserk.
I like the Samba for alliance and being able to heal alliance would be awesome.
A+ Katana for NIN please, no other job can use it so yea, I guess same w/ Ninjutsu.
SAM should get better archery and maybe enough to be able to get and use the WSNM one OR leave skill as is and let them use archery WS w/o /rng...
and then THF should either get more marksmanship or be able to use the WS w/o /rng most would stick to the dagger/Gkt WS's but still be a fun +.
I think every skill should have an A+ somewhere like ranges katana etc.

I want but for redundancy lets start with anything more then mildy useful or plain crap. Just a crazy thought but perhaps actually making the job with the highest enhancing magic the best at it? Not to mention disservement's DOT is the same as fully meritted bio3+poison2. And the ability to sleep undeed... assuming we could survive AV with some super duper update it would take no ***days if not weeks to solo assuming we could get the regen under control. Or that you generally need really pimp enfeebling gear to pull the hard kites off. You know who else can solo alot of the stuff rdm can at least stuff that don't run uber fast with really pimp gear? Just about anyone with ranged or DOT dmg that can out run the mob or sleep it. I knew a rng that solod stuff that I'm not sure I can do with my gear. Well most of them with blink tanking you can make there melee hits manageable and most don't have regain... what really makes most them hard or what causes failure/wipes is the tp moves. Which makes minimizing tp you give them very important especially with low numbers. So spike dmg is highly preferred. It can often make the difference of wiping with 18 vs winning fairly easy with 8-9 on some mobs

Another quickie. I'd like to see WARs get a faster way to recover HP. Like a trait similar to clear mind but works on HP instead of MP. Also a JA to help boost HP similar to Chakra would be nice. Since you'd think a Warrior would have some kind of first aid knowledge >.>

- Make Mijin Gakure a 20 min ability. - Give Ninja Throwing WS. - Give Ninja some new crappy 2 hour that wont break the game (read throw 15 shuriken at a time or something). That is all.
Ok i have been playing for three years now and IMO i would like to see the following.
Ninja: A few new job abilities and traits. Heck maybe a spell to get hate better.
Blue Mage: A more indacation on how to learn spells.
Summoner: More Perp cost - gear. Granted the new update for them was awesome i would like to see there per tick cost go down more.
Warrior: The old tank now turned massive DD ummm ya i decent update would help this job a bit.
Merits: I would like to see more of the traits be able to be merited like conserv Mp and Magic ATK bonus to be examples. Heck maybe lower the cost of the Call wyvern ability.
Spells: i would like to see Whm with more merited spells like Town teles would be sorta nice. Nin's should get Utu San os something new since they really need it.
Random things: Lol a new craft would be awesome or like a menu showing you the % on the directions and HQ and such.
I no this thread is pretty long and maybe rediculas but this is whay i think SE should update.
