Really hope BLM get something too, maybe JA's that enhance each of the elements potency at the cost of lowering the opposite elements potency, just like ele staffs, but really anything would be nice... I seriously doubt Bahamut will be featured since he is keen on destroying the world.. I had to necrobump this. >.> You obviously didn't fully grasp the concept of CoP nor of unlocking Avatars, or Waking the Beast(if you did it) if that's your reason for Bahamut not being unlocked. xD Bahamut won't be an avatar because SE had issues converting DIABOLOS due to what needed to be gimped on him, and by how much. If nothing else, Cait Sith is likely to be a summon questable after WotG missions are completed. Atomos also...but I can't see how he's fit into a summon. How it would move about along with you and whatnot.

oh and ninja needs something to help its enmity.. im sorry but an evasion tank should not lose hate for getting missed or having a shadow hit =/ and as for bahamut as an avatar SE has denied that would ever happen since day 1 that bahamut has been in the story.. odins too big.. pheonix is a sword.. alexander doesnt move.. at this time i dont see anything but the light ixion that can help you in campaign as possible new avatar.. unless they add something.. but honestly unnerf campaign.. make it so you can skillup in campaign so all these people doin astral burns and lvl sync parties can get thier skillups that need so much lol.. and just make campaign worth doin again.. cause i honestly dont see the point in it anymore after they nerfed it to the point its impossible to get exp off fortifications.. or from some jobs at all.. honestly once i get the highest rank and my body/bodies i dont see what the reason id be doin campaign anymore would be =/

just by how they described the new avatars.. as being bigger then the others.. i doubt its cait sith lol.. though im gonna say now if cait sith does become an avatar ihave a feeling its gonna be one big disappointment

yeah I don't want a nerf and the game is fine as it is anything + to it would be welcoming Seeing how most TP returns are Main/First hit TP + 1 for each hit after...I wouldn't even call it nerfing. 50 TP return is blatantly overpowered. Just like the 2-3 days after they increased Group 2 merit caps to 5 each/10 total. Complete chaos with Sneak Attack working from the front of the mob and not behind it, but you wouldn't call that a "nerf" either. I just don't what the correct word for stuff like this is. ( > .>); But as to the Fortification EXP...was a sad sad sad day...... ( ~ .~)

@ the smn debate, I somehow doubt they're going to spring some new avatars on us last minute, but if they do, I see cait sith and atomos both as likely options, atomos could easily take the form of a maw as it did in some really old FF game, and Cait sith might not suck as bad as he did in FFVII, and besides, he DID get the black materia for you (which you *** UP AND GAVE TO SEPHIROTH! NOOB!).
@ Arnor: Phoenix could work, it could be made to fit into the story pretty easily since he's the avatar of rebirth, also, he's not actually a sword, he was just IN the sword. Alexander COULD actually work, it would just need some serious planning on how to use him as an avatar if he doesn't move, but kinda fails for story imo. Odin also is too big, but I guess could be scaled down, but again, doesn't really fit in story wise I think (could be made to I guess, but don't get your hopes up), and Auroral Alicorn could easily be made an avatar, since it has no *** story whatsoever.
@ fortifications: I do so little campaign that I've been demoted 4 times, but yeh, killing forts is boring and requires a lot of it to even change the nations influence much, it should at least be rewarding with exp/AN.

a simple answer too nin not being as good of a tank at holding hate as pld is that it holds its hate by subbing war and doing damage, if you look the damage a nin does in a pt tanking compared too pld you would entirely understand why nin costs more and has less emnimty gear. seriously if they gave nin a ja what greatly increases its emnimty but reduces the nin's damage how many people would seriously use it?

You know why you see sams miss ws? Cause how often do you see a sam wear any acc gear? Just cause its single hit doesn't mean you will hit all the time. Rdm updates nao!!! Um and ones that are actually nice. Something pt oriented maybe... like something that will actually bring them to the front lines like promised.

Really I don't think I've seen a gkat ws that said anything about acc boost... dmg yes. And as far as gekko goes... Skill level: 225 Mutes target. Damage varies with TP

i play a friend's sam quite a bit, and (with minimal knowledge of the technicals) even i noticed gekko miss much more than any others. kasha always does 1k+, where gekko, if it hits, quite often doesnt manage it..

Ah just read a side note on wiki. Supposedly theres a note of possible double attack on gekko... however seeing as both gekko and kasha have the same tp and stat mods and number of hits and there dmg doesnt vary that much I seriously doubt it. Especially since it still needs citation. Something like double attack would make huge difference and be obvious. I mean Man Stab only gives 1.66 attack and peopel figured that out like that.

ok 1. i honestly dont see odin workin at all just cause hes already a boss in ein.. and 2. my sam has justice torque and 3 GKT merits and counting and im missing too weaks.. and i know sams in full usu with justice torque full merits and 54 accuracy and miss all the time.. so accuracy gear honestly doesnt have anything to do with it.. and as for double attack on gekko i think its mainly just damage wise you dont get a second hit that is shown

There's a double attack possibility on every ws I believe (could be wrong though). Very noticeable with 1 hits however, as the dmg will increase by a LOT. And you can tell when it procs from your tp return. For example with my ws setup on sam, I get 17 TP returned. When double attack procs I get 18...and a crap load more dmg :D
And about SAMs ws missing. 1 hits are supposedly capped, aside from flash obviously, and blinds from like faf/nid, according to come BG testers (I know a lot of people don't care for BG on here, blah blah). I remember someone even parsing capped acc on Gekko, using blind potions. But it's more noticable with SAM since a good one is probably WSing a hell of a lot.
Rerail - Nin needs an update, as I'm sure lots of people mentioned. I know SE didn't intend for it to be a tank, but a DD instead right? So make it a better D....*** it, just give us Utsusemi: San...
And ichi overriding ni for nins. Can be for everyone idc, but at least for nin.

Much more then a pld/nin could dream of

Not a job update, but I think it'd be cool to add a ring or something to the list of GP items that lets you warp to your Guild once a day lol. Maybe something like level 78 or 88+.

i like the idea of adding whips and the idea of giving DNC another weapon option, but i like the idea of giving DNC whips even more. i mean with all the flailing around, it just makes sense.

Scholar and some of the other new jobs are in serious need of some 'Job Specific' gear. If you look at the AH, you'll notice that the original jobs all have armor that only their job can wear, such as Sha'ir armor for Bards.
I haven't played Summoner much, but the whole 'takes x MP every second to keep out' just sucks. Even as a Tarutaru with lots of MP it's like the only thing you can really do is heal with occasionally summoning an avatar for the occasional Wards.
It'll never happen but PUP and BST get their pets for free, and PUP's can give their 'pets' auto regen and auto refresh. I dont see why a Summoner cant have a totally free avatar.

dont know if any one has said this but BRD needs like a reverse Pianissimo where you can make single target songs like Hunters Prelude and make it AoE would be great for BRDs that do alot of arrow burn PTs

Ok i have been playing for three years now and IMO i would like to see the following.
Ninja: A few new job abilities and traits. Heck maybe a spell to get hate better.
Blue Mage: A more indacation on how to learn spells.
Summoner: More Perp cost - gear. Granted the new update for them was awesome i would like to see there per tick cost go down more.
Warrior: The old tank now turned massive DD ummm ya i decent update would help this job a bit.
Merits: I would like to see more of the traits be able to be merited like conserv Mp and Magic ATK bonus to be examples. Heck maybe lower the cost of the Call wyvern ability.
Spells: i would like to see Whm with more merited spells like Town teles would be sorta nice. Nin's should get Utu San os something new since they really need it.
Random things: Lol a new craft would be awesome or like a menu showing you the % on the directions and HQ and such.
I no this thread is pretty long and maybe rediculas but this is whay i think SE should update.
