Even the rank 3 gil amount (from 2010) was more than 28 times the amount required to buy 10 marbles. So, yes, it is a significant amount of free gil, if you win, relative to the investment.

Just thought I would point out (in case people never thought of it) since the billing was changed to 30 day cycles instead of monthly cycles you can get everything done in just one billing cycle. If you start your 30 days billing cycle in late February to buy your marbles, the prize collection period will start before you get to a second cycle. That'll show SE! They're not getting an extra 2 dollars from me.

I think some of the prize options should include extra inventory space (special sack or something) or 1 piece of that fancy-pants GM equipment lol. But that's just me I think :\

I agree that I think the ark weapons should've been 5 so you could at least guarantee one of your choice but, I guess they realize scythe has some utility and want to give it more "rarity".

I'm kinda disappointed at the choices, but I'll be happy if I get anything besides mog missles...which I know I will probably get.

So I've never used mules for these bonanza's before. It seems pretty simple though. I just need to activate a bunch of content ID's on my account, send money to those level 1 characters, buy marbles, and then if I win anything, just send it to my main and then I can deactivate. Am I missing anything?

I'm hoping for a mythic just like everyone else, but I at least want to give myself the best chance of getting an ark scythe.

It's just such a downgrade from the goldengobbiebag that is why people are wanting the "utility" prize. I mean where's the HQ abjuration pieces? the moogle suits? Why just bodies from NNI, why not just make a Platinum Astrarium the prize instead?

The dont need to give a KI they could make a Mog voucher NI same as the relic mythic and empy weapons.

Edit: thinking about it they could have added vouchers for:

Limbus v2 in rank3
New HQ abj gear in rank2 w/o the honor
Limbus v1 in rank4
Old abjs in rank5 only the abj not the actual piece of equipment.

They could have stuck marrows, cinders, dross and the mythic items in rank2.

All of that would have been wonderful actually.

Hell if their excuse is about getting multiple items they could make marrow cluster, heavy cinder/dross pouch and mythic item cluster. All of them ra/ex like the cats eye and will count as adding the amount needed of that item for the level 99 trial.

There is usually a minimum required number of days the character needs to be active before it's eligible to participate. In this case, it's 32 days. And since the contest ends at 12AM on the 28th... I'm very sorry but I hope you did this already. :(

Everyone could get something in past bonanzas as well... Just make each marble end in a different number

I think they meant for every losing marble though. Instead of a guarantee 1 statue we get missiles! :P
