1. You will never be "the best" there will always be someone better.
2. What does telling everyone how awesome you are, have to do with being "the best" or "one of the best"... who are you trying to convince.
3. Constantly telling people, and yourself, this also deludes you from reality, and makes reality-checks a bit more difficult.

I never said he was a bad BLM. I never said he sucked at the job. I'm laughing at how he boosts his e-ego by telling everyone how awesome he is on his server... because, obviously, he knows each, and every, players skill levels, and gear sets......

And also consider this: Your logic is flawed. If you are the best, how can anyone be better than you. You aren't the best then, so you can't be considered the best. To truly be the best means you have to be the best. Thats the whole point of being the best. There is no group of "best" there are just one.

There is, however, a group called "one of the best." It means you are in the top tier of players in that job. It doesn't mean you are "the best" but it does mean you have a shot at being "the best."

You are correct in that. I should have stopped a long time ago, but I have this problem that I feel that I need to make myself clear. Since Radaghast doesn't have critical thinking skills needed, I tried to make myself clearer for him/her/whatever. Since I keep failing at that, I should assume that maybe its not me, but I won't feel right if I do that, so I try harder to make myself clearer.

The only thing you fail at is understanding the size of lolcow you are.

Know the weaknesses of the mobs you are fighting.

Know the strenghts of the mobs you are fighting.

Know when to nuke.

Know how to Magic Burst.

Know when to Magic Burst.

Know when to sleep instead of nuke.

Know how to debuff.

Know how to solo.

Know when you need to die.

Know how to die (most people don't even know this).

Know your spells. Burn makes BLM enfeebles stronger/more accurate, so if you are fighting a mob that resists Gravity (but not fully) then burn him. Same goes for Shock. You can also do both at the same time, as long as the mob you are fighting are not strong against Thunder and Fire. If you realize that, you will know when to do that and when to not do that.

Common sense. Very few people seem to have that.

Drive to excell at your job. Know what makes ***stick. Know about your Magic Accuracy and the best way to improve on it. Know about your mobs resist rates and how to weaken them without using Death Blossom.

Just know your job.

youd be surprised how many BLMs dont know what they are doing, and since he is on that server and you(and me) are not, imma have to take his word for it.

Honestly if you think all that is what makes you one of the best, then your server must be full of failmages. That's, so you for once correctly put, common sense. Perhaps Asura lacks a bit of that? lol i know I know... it's an absurd comment.. but then... it's no more absurd than claiming some nonsense like "i'm one of the best and XXX away from being the best".
