RNG: Licht (JP guy been around since I was a nub, Was HQ then, and continues to be. RNG role-model.)
BLU: Trouge (not just because he's a friend.)

...any other nomination would just be biased because of friendship ties, tried to be as subjective as possible.

...idk, it's hard to say, server died during the salvage dupe bans... no one really shines anymore cause the server's too busy throwing ***at eachother.

Trouge and Kiichi are both amazing at their jobs (Kiichi I experienced as whm/sch, Trouge as drk and blu)

Misono is damn good rdm and blm (havent played with his other jobs, but these two are really good~)

If its what you enjoy then youre a pro. period.

Honestly IMO, I don't really think you can say so and so is the best RDM or PLD or whatever job, because how can you honestly say you've encountered every single player who has played that job. You can, however, say "so and so is a really good <insert random job here> because ....."

servers do tend to have those someone(s) who really have it 100% together when it comes to a job- i know i'm always seeing the same people doing stuff that's just totally micheal jordan bo knows baseball, and some of them have already been named in this thread, so that's that.

my friends are my favorite too though.

my hair is pretty dirty atm, was f'n hot today.

Hmmmm I feel the people who are best at Asura for their jobs arent always the best geared (though its likely in most cases). The people I think of just generally put a lot of passion and time into their jobs, understanding all of it and their roles in every situation.

People who are note worthy.

WHM - Fredjan, without a DOUBT one of the top WHMs currently on the server. This guy puts so much into this job and plays it like a real pro. I would trust him in my party for any event.

BRD - Broki. Understands just about everything of BRD! His gear is fantastic and only actually having two jobs at 75 (the other BST) he devotes a lot of his time to perfecting each one. I would take him over a relic horn brd anyday. A great friend and a great player.

BST - Broki. See above.

SAM - Basara. Though he is an irritating Frenchie, he puts everything into his Samurai and Red Mage. His gear is indeed upper class, and is one of those people you feel safe knowing he will pull his weight and then some.

THF - Arouz (no longer active). His first melee job he leveled, instantly fell in love with it. Sporting full skadi, full heca, Xs knife etc He was only missing Mandau. VERY few thf's impress me, but when you get one that is as devoted to there job as Arouz was its mind blowing the numbers they can pull off.

MNK - Romain. Great guy in general. Been doing salvage with him now for such a long time and wouldnt pick any other MNK to be tanking those chariots for me. Full Usukane, blackbelt, and top of the range gear, and can tank like a pro.

There are plenty more people I know who are good, but those are serious contenders for top of the server. Thanks for those who said my DRG is one of the best, but it does have a long way to go, but again its more about the passion I put into it, then my gear.

I'll second this, never seen Broki's bst however.

This thread is no longer about who is best at their job, its more like "shout out to your friends on Asura" thread.

I seriously doubt we can honestly determine who is the best at XXX job on this server because there are a lot of people who are great at their job. Almost everyone on Asura is great at 1, some are great at 2. Very very very few people are great at 3+ jobs though.

So, lets continue this "shout out to your friends on Asura" thread.

For those out there who don't understand why this thread exists...

For those wondering how people were nominated or even why or are upset that they weren't mentioned...

Think of it like this... If you had something really important to do or were joining a LS or a PUG who could make you feel better about doing the task at hand if you saw them in shell, ally, pt? It's your classic, "Who do you want in the foxhole with you?"

If you've been around on Asura you'll eventually learn who people are and some of these names will make sense. For those who need more info and a long explanatory treatise get out there and do more ***... you'll run into some of the folks listed so far. First hand knowledge > all that any of us could say on here...

I figured, as much, this thread was about appreciating our fellow players and praising them for what they do. "Best" should be taken with a grain of salt, it's more of a:
"Hey, this person is good, so I am going to give them the thumbs up for all their hard work"

Not to say that the people who are not listed here do not deserve appreciation, everyone one does.
