What Did You Pay For Colorless Souls? Setup?

A lot of people have paid for colorless souls rather than farm them/use their ls to farm them and I think that's mostly the route I want to take.

Obviously, I want to get a fair deal, but I don't want to rip anyone off. Server economies aren't so wildly different that this information is irrelevant to me.

So what did you pay for your colorless souls? Did you instead pay by the pop, and how much?

I can pld/rdm with capped enhancing, I have an Aegis 25% (that I'm building up) and have Future Fabulous which breaks down to about -40% MDT before Shell 4/5, Aegis, etc.

I have friends that would help me kill, but with those options available, I probably don't NEED help, though treasure hunter is obviously desirable.

Did you solo your T3 pops? As in, did you kill it yourself? What precautions did you take? Is Aegis (will be 45% in a week), FF, and /rdm w/ bar spells being overly cautious?

I did look at the last page of threads in this forum and didn't see this topic, and really don't want to necro anyway.

Admittedly, that comes with a hefty *** colorless souls i REALLY don't want to sell them tax.

I bought souls for 400-500k each. Had some people sell me pops for 300k. Farmed some myself. That ifrit mob is the easiest to 2box as mnk+whm mule.

Forgot to mention that sometimes i went out there and teaded body seals for t3 pops

I went whm or dnc, he went w/e melee job he wanted to go as. Only took a few days to do.

levi is easiest imo to do > ifrit > diabolos, soloing diabolos is not really gona happen nightmare is just... awful....

Neat trick vs nightmare. Damage absorption counts as a cure, and will wake you from nightmare. So, nocturnus helm, damage absorb atma, and creed set(if you're on PLD) can give you a way to wake back up solo.

That being said, even totaled the proc rates aren't all that great. So you'd have to be High on HP when Nightmare hit, and get lucky. And the mob's still an *** in general.

Me and my wife farmed souls as a merc. With 4 chars we could get 75 souls in a week and we have jobs during the day. Not hard if you have help.

500k would be the bottom price you should offer, unless you want a soul here or there from ppl for 300k. 1mil a soul? I would go outta retirement from soul farming for that, kinda burnt after 450 souls.

Another note would be, 10-15% T1 > T2.
T2 > T3 is about 25% change rate long term. But all those 1/1 catch up sometimes.

Would azdaja be doable ukon war and whm? I want faster fights and able to proc lesser than switching to a different setup

falcorr can solo them and you can bst/thf if you wanted to "easy/safe solo"

Ok so I'm safe to assume ill be fine that way? Still best to *** tank him?
