Edit: You can. Just make sure you don't go to the wrong NPC and delevel yourself.

And how can I sign up for the other guild to hand in points? When I go there all it does is tell me the Artisan lvl up item.

If they are asking you for skill up item, then it's the wrong npc.

Yup. Got the GP item thing figured out. New question is: Can I get 75 CC and 105 smithing, since smithing wouldn't be capped, or are subs locked at 70?

no your smithing will fall to 70 if you raise any other craft above 70

I definitely remember seeing skilling up where one craft would rise and another would fall (simultaneously, one goes up .1, the other down). What accounted for that?

I suppose it could have been shopped, I just never considered it at the time because I didn't really care about crafting.

Unless something's changed, you lose skill 0.1 at a time. At least, I did when I finished off Cooking and was losing 6 levels off my Bonecraft.

Just a couple weeks ago I had one craft at 94 and another at 83 before I decided to delevel the 94 craft, so I don't think it's broken.

So from what I gather here, to play it safe, make sure you don't uncap your sub-crafts when you hit 70. Just leave it "blue", this should insure that your main remains your main at 100~110.

Am I correct to assume this?
