Harvest Festival - Pitchfork (reaquisition)

Hello everyone, I tried doing the mini quest for the pitchfork reward in the Harvest Festival event with no luck. I was using the suggested costumes and guide off of BG wiki. Thinking that I may have done the quest long ago (and dropped the pitchfork), have been playing since Xbox 2006 release and that's the reason I'm not having any luck acquiring. I tried in windurst and bastok, may try later in sandoria. Anyone else to their knowledge been able to reacquire holiday items? No biggie if not, but just wanted an extra proc weapon. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or confirmations.

If you drop it you can get it back by redoing the quest np. :3 If you can't then I would check one of the event storage dudes to make sure you didn't store it and forgot.

Yeah I checked the taru storage guy in windy and Hume in port jueno. Thinking maybe I did the NQ in windy and +1 in bastok that's why no luck. Hoping sandy will allow me to complete.

Slip storage generally doesn't prevent reobtaining items, have you checked your ACTUAL storage/locker/etc?

Yeah I'm certain it's not in locker, mog storage etc. and yeah I think you're right, I think if completed correctly its possible to get one from quest while having on in the event storage npc but would not be able to carry both simultaneously "please sort inventory" blah blah.

I did quest yesterday and was confused because there are 2 bomb decorations in each of the relevant zones. Make sure you are going to the right place.

Yeah I tried both in windy (by cooking guild and by bridge going to southern half of windurst waters) and also both in bastok markets (by the fountain and by port bastok zone). Thanks for the suggestions, ill keep trying I'm sure it's something dumb I'm overlooking.

I had a major problem doing this damn quest too, I first obtained it in south sandy and tossed it in the past so I think it prevented me from getting one (did with a mule in sandy and mule was able to get NQ but main character wasn't)

Then I tried Basty, unable to get it with both the bomb decoration by fountain and the one a few steps down from the fountain. Digged around to find this guide which suggested I had to run to the Bomb decoration near the music shop in Bastok Markets which worked.

Also, make sure that you have only two people in your party. Even if you and someone else in the party have the required costume combinations and are at the proper bomb decoration, if there's anyone else in the party it won't work.

had the same problem, you can re do the quest but in a different nation.
you cant re aquire the pitchfork in a nation where you obtained that already (even if is not in your inventory/storage/moogle).
