Finally got round to doing these missions over the last week or so, and completed the final mission last night.
I was wondering just how useful this earring is now at Level 99. My jobs are DRK THF BST and COR. My DRK is my main, so the Regain looks nice, but there might be other gear that beats it (bare in mind I am still working on Empyreans before I begin doing Voidwatch regularly) so I am not sure whether it would be a waste.
I feel it would be fairly useless to a THF or BST, but without searching through tons of older posts, I cannot be completely sure.
My Corsair is still a work in progress, and will start using it in VW when I get my Armageddon.
I am grateful for any advice, before I head over to Grauberg and finish this storyline. Thanks!

Yes I thought I read that somewhere. Why is Regain so bad, and TP Bonus so good?
I was doing the Missions with my father, and he was wondering what augments to get as well. He is mostly after a SMN piece, and he was thinking about getting Refresh on it, but it just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. I could be wrong though.

Well I have my Cara Gems waiting to go, I just have to work through some more NM trials, get my Gun up to 80, and do the big fish to 85 it. I took refresh and magic acc. I have melee and mage jobs so it wasn't an easy choice. So when you see the Rag DRK or BLU idling in Moonshade, that's why! How do you use your BST and do you /WHM it? If so... boring MP and refresh.
If you have twilight set, disregard.

I have Entropy and Resolution on DRK, as well as Ruinator for my BST (Had to ditch Exenterator for that). I wish they just give us more points to spend on Weapon Skills lol. If you have a melee job that you care about whatsoever, get the TP bonus Moonshade earring. The only exceptions I can think of off the top of my head are MNK (w/ Spharai) and BST. Your main is DRK, which makes excellent use of it, so this should be a no-brainer.

I made an MP/Refresh earring, which was useful at the time. These days I only pull it out when I'm on SMN. So I want to remake it as a TP Bonus. Trying to decide what to do for the second augment. I mostly play mage jobs. Is the Magic Accuracy really good? If so then I might do Magic Acc/TP Bonus, even though that's a weird combination. If the magic acc's not worth it, I'll do attack/TP bonus. One other question: do I need to redo the fight when I recreate the earring, or is it just a matter of checking some cutscenes? Wiki: Re-obtaining With New Augments You may obtain a new Moonshade Earring by tossing your current one and checking the ??? next to the Veridical Conflux in Grauberg. This will reset your current WotG mission to Maiden of the Dusk where you will have to redo the fight and obtain the Moonshade Earring along with all cutscenes. The fight is soloable by BST and other jobs. I would ya, unless he really only uses his mage jobs.

I think he uses Brutal and Ravagers for WS (Might be wrong on that), so I guess he would switch out Ravager's for Moonshade in WS for Ukkos Fury? |
