All of BLU's magical spells, sans 1000 Needles and enfeebles obviously, will always land in some capacity and will not come up with a "The spell fails to take effect" message.
I must be remembering wrong then. Although semi-random thought is this true if the spell is of a family that's weak to the target?

Are you asking if spells get bonuses and penalties based on the family you learned them from?
That and if the penalty is extreme enough to completely fail.

They can't completely fail, period. Only exceptions are those in which the mob has a magic shield up, and even some of those don't cause the spell to fail completely. Monster Correlation is a small (0.1 or so iirc) bonus or penalty to fTP, nothing more nothing less.

I wouldn't have listened to you or even Prothescar (even though he's a respected person when it comes to BLU around here) without proof because I don't go off of "cuz he said" but when people say X and have proof (my own tests in this case), then I listen.

No offense to you, but it was more of a "So and so said from personal experience" rather than "cuz he said so, duh!".

No offense to you, or anyone else who essentially said "sandspin 4tw!" but there was no expressed personal experience behind it (maybe you intended for it to be implied but didn't come across). Heck even myself and everyone else advocating Foot Kick were doing so based on established common knowledge that the accuracy of physical spells was from your main hand weapon.

I remembered magical spells being able to fail even when they do damage, likely I associated 1000 needles across the board in my incorrect memory. I decided to test it because no else was or providing any sort of proof and "he said, he said" arguments don't go anywhere.

Anyway the question has been answered for the OP and there isn't a point in continuing this so I'll be bowing out.
