The only thing I've even been saying is how adamantly potheads defend their marijuana use and attack cigarettes and alcohol among other things... it's almost like anything negative said about it is false (not even talking about this study) and the use of marijuana actually makes you some kind of superhuman (exaggerating for effect lol)... On a personal level I don't really care if you or anyone else smokes weed... I've always thought it should be legal but then again there are a lot of things to take into consideration before that day comes lol...

I've never really even made a comment in this thread about the study nor did I even read the linked article/study... Why do you have such a hard time grasping that my comments have nothing to do with this study or testicular cancer and everything to do with how people who smoke weed come to its defense as a super drug and make everything else out to be the bad guy...

But hey... when you've really got nothing to say attack a guy for run on sentences and over use of elipses lol... what a joke...

I do smoke it and I myself figure that there should be rules implemented, but it should be legalised. Don't want everyone greening out all over the streets and over using though. It's horrid for the lungs and really, who has time to bake the stuff? But it's like smoking tobacco (imo, not the law lol), it's a choice.
I do like it, but I wish it was legalised so that all the hiding and drama can be avoided, the goverment could find ways to control it and obviously other things beyond my comprehension at this moment. It really can be managed, but there's so much propoganda and fear behind it. It has its' benefits and it has its' downsides much like anything in life.
I'm not saying this to you, but to everyone, including the stoners here, because you can't be ignorant forever. There are legitimate studies regarding mental health (depression, psychosis) and addition to lung cancer patients because of how we smoke it. It's a choice, but it's a choice you need to make wisely. Or stupidly, whatever your view is.

I was able to kick that habit with tea. You'd be surprised how many different flavors you can get from tea, since that was my biggest issue with getting rid of sodas. If I went from soda to just water, I wouldn't have kicked my soda habit.

Hot tea, iced tea, herbal tea, green tea, etc, etc...

Not only just flavors, but you can slap in some honey into your tea for that healthy sweetness! Highly recommend if you want to drop that habit.

Fruit juice and flavored seltzer water help to keep the soda demon at bay. There were days I was emotionally torn up about not having a bottle of soda and the diet stuff has always been awful to me but now I'm at the point where water is my friend and I'm trying to get my sister to break the habit.

It's done a world of good for the skin too.

I found the study mentioned in the original article, quoted it's numbers, and explained the most likely causes for the results they recieved as well as pointing out that the difference amounted to literally one person. If two cancer-free people on that study had lied and claimed they hadn't smoked, suddenly weed cuts cancer rate in half. That's why the study has no relevance, the sample size isn't large enough to rely on.

I have plenty of relevant things to say, and I'm not even defending the behavior of most stoners. You're just being a whiny *** in a thread that you apparently didn't even read the OP of.

I pointed out the ellipses and run-on sentences because they detract from your already poorly stated points. Internet or not, you'd be surprised what proper grammar does for your argument.

Fun Dip still exists yeah but candy cigarettes have fallen out of favor. I guess it's pretty disturbing to some to see kids pretending to smoke but it's alright since they can still rip the arms and legs off gummy bears, squirt liquid sugar on a piece of hard candy or munch on classics like Nerds or Runts.

not gonna read all these pages, but as my reply to the OP saying "its not harmless" as his main point..

nothing is truely harmless just like too much of anything is not good for you. but in comparison to a lot of other things ppl do such as smoking cigs, drinking, other drugs, or even just everyday things you do, its very minor next to most things to the point you can generalize it as "harmless", even though its not. at the end of the day nothing is harmless.

I always wonder why this so call wanna be intellectual posters, enjoy spamming their opinions on non-serious topics like this...
