Can anyone help me out here? I'm looking for an old video from maybe back in 03-04. I think it was the very first video to reveal a real Dynamis run that took place in Sandoria, also I believe all the PC's there were either devs, GMs, or both but it mainly focused on a solo DRK/NIN in an Optical hat dual wielding a Ridill and Kraken club. At that time there was still this interesting sound effect bug (I think it was a bug) where all the swings/hits with your off-hand weapon take on the same sound as your main hand. Pretty much all you heard was nothing but Ridill swings/hits and Vorpal Blade and Savage Blade going off. I think there was also a torrent circulating around that's no longer available. If anyone could please post a link to the site providing this video footage, I've been searching high and low on YouTube and google video search. I'm afraid it might be lost forever.
I'm interested as well! I can't say I've ever seen the video you're talking about, and I spend FAR too much time watching Final Fantasy XI videos on youtube.
However here's probably one of the oldest FFXI videos you'll be able to find on Youtube, recorded during the JP beta in 2002
Check out dat 2 hour duration/AoE JAs/Equip icons :p
