As the title says, can bst solo any of the items for Black Belt? I have fairly good solo gear.
2x Astolfo
Anwig Salade (pet: 5% haste -10% dt)
Beast Bazubands
Ferine Mantle
Moepapa Stone
Ferine Quijotes +2
Adaman Sillerets (haste)
Full reward set
Fully merited
Think I stand a chance at any of the items?

Behemoth KS99 can probably be soloed by BST for sure.
And Behemoth itself can be soloed by pretty much any job, KB I'm not sure, but I'll assume BST can solo that too. Turtle would be hard to do I think, and idk if BST have any pets that can hit the wyrm while it's flying? Behemoth KS99 solo is definatly doable i have a friend that spammed that solo as bst, the other 2 im not sure about but i highly doubt it.

If they have a way to hit the wyrm while it's in the air, that would be easy aswell

I know for certain Behemoth can be bst trio'd (done many times) & possibly duo'd but very risky (1 is timed pet dying & its tp move goes off its a wipe). even a trio have to watch call beast timer & reward timers. unless u plan on using 200+ dawn mulsums highly unlikely solo. but item still worth money & guaranteed 100% pop drop + other drops so not that hard finding others to burn ks's.
Ive duo`d the Wyrm on sch with my bst friend, just stuck a helix on it once it went airbourne and threw a couple of nukes. BST has no way of damaging it once its airbourne unless you subbed a mage, and even then I doubt you`d be able to deal enough damage. My friend tried Yuly on one run since she`s technically flying but even she couldn't hit it.
Can't comment on the Turtle as ive yet to try it. Turtle regen probably is way too high for it to be a possible solo.
And then as far as the wyrm goes, will be an easy duo if you can get a mage to help you. Blue mage, black mage, scholar and even red mage should and will be able to bring it down fairly fast.

If you could get enough regain (I don't know bst at all) charged wisker from the coreul might hit it. Turtle's Aqua breath might be good also (and I think is probably the better pet to tank it flying).

Yeah I saw a bst solo ks99 behe with Gerard. I just sat there learning thunderbolt. Took about 10-15 minutes. Just dont stand in meteor range and have reward ready.

It looks to me like glyph axe is bsts only pet regain. So first you would have to test if there is a BP that could hit a flying mob by going to tahrongi and trying to use abilities on cuelubre(w/e the spelling is). Then it's just a math problem. Assume 7~ minutes (at most) to do 33% each land phase so you have 16 minutes. glyph says 40tp/minute, so 2.5minutes per 100tp, and assume you start w/ 3 charges/tp would mean you have to do 13000dmg in 7 sics. Might be possible but it seems like it might be more effort than finding a mage to duo w/.
That's an interesting way to do it, just keep in mind you'd need to use a pet that could survive the attacks during flight aswell.
But yeah, sounds like it's alot harder than needed, easier to just get a mage-friend to help. Speed belt is decent gil again these days anyways :p KS99 Behemoth is an easy BST solo. I got my wife's belt using Gerard. Just make sure you face him away from you, as the front AoE has a huge range (45 plus). Wyrm you are better off duoing. If you can get a SMN or PUP with BLM puppet it's simple. Turtle is not close to soloable for us, unfortunately.
Turtle can be done on sch, wyrm can be done on blu, behemoth can be done on bst @99
Turtle cannto be soloed on sch. The guy who did it was on the test server.

According to a friend the mobs Hp arent the same. And I think they also made the difficulty slightly easier for testing purposes.

All the KSNM99s are soloable, but as far as I know, BST can only solo the behemoth KSNM pretty easily. I've never seen or heard of anybody soloing the Wyrm or Adamantoise on BST, however I know BLU can solo the Wyrm, and SCH can solo the Adamantoise (as said earlier). As far as BST soloing the Behemoth KSNM, it it pretty easy. Just bring a Dawn Mulsum or 2, and a stack of Etas should be good for a solo or 2, Run in, Sic pet on it, run back out of meteor range, and just keep your pet alive.

i use hippo on my mule bst and the 96 reward food beta if i remember right also my mithra is decently geared full +2 good PDT- set though i know it don't help with meteor but so far i have had np keeping hippo alive and i think its a 15 min fight or 20 i 4get its been a while sense i done it I know u looking to do stuff on BST but if you just want to solo or low man them u should consider other jobs too as an easier way to do them like PUP, BLU, SCH, etc like ppl have suggested. Other than that, as has been said before, just make a static and spam them with friends if just want to go as BST.
