As with any new items, don't expect any of it to be cheap, i'm expecting anyone to go as high as they can for one cell such as 10m+ untill time passes or not enough retard buy them fast enough, there is already a an cell on AH and it will probably be up there a while due to him listing it for some stupid price. or if they become common enough, that's just the greed this game has kept.
but if you only need 5 a stack of 12 seems odd as i doubt anyone will keep them enough to stack that high.
the pulse weapons however are pretty rare as is, getting 5 of those seems like a nightmare.

It's when you trade them to the npc for the item that ***gets limited a bit.
how is stuff limited?

I've never understood the attraction of those listed weapons when ephs are so easy to get and relics are also substantially easier than they used to be. Most of those weapons are either offhand or completely inferior to emp/relic ie, not worth the amount of money people are talking about.

Nope, you can choose to either obtain the item or convert it into a pulse cell.

You should need the item first, no? The entire point of the system is to turn double drops into cels.

The only weapon i see going for outrageous prices is corruscanti, its an awesome offhand for mandau or twashtar, and a great mainhand for people with too much gil and neither of those. Other than that, you can probably expect the next highest price to be on toci's cells.
Edit: I wouldn't expect to see Coruscanti cells for less than 15m a pop, but who knows. I personally would probably bazaar these around 20m if I ever get the chance to obtain one.

I haven't done the numbers, but is it really millions of gil superior to a STR dagger for an offhand. And the way the game is right now, do people really want to dump that much more money into THF.

I'm not sure, the Devs post wasn't really clear.
But that's what I've gathered from it~

STR-Magian is a superior off-hand compared to Coruscanti.

I haven't done the numbers myself, but I'm sure for twashtar, at least, Coruscanti would win offhand. Mandau I'm unsure. Either way, due to the general nature of this dagger, people will be dumb enough to pay those prices. Once they get theirs, prices will drop lol.

You should need the item first, no? The entire point of the system is to turn double drops into cels. this is also preventing whm mules getting and tossing war bodys etc too, so I'm really doubting that clause.
because at that point you can't give heka to a sch99 mule you made a day ago. the mule has to sign up for voidwatch and join a run that beats akvan before trading in the cells etc slightly limiting you. I think they revised it so you can just hit the "turn into cell" button. They had to support the "i dont want this, but instead of taking it and being a *** going about telling everyone i got it,lets just turn it into 5mil and make everyone jellyererer"

25Mil would be the high end, 10 would be more reasonable. None of the gear u can get will make a big enough difference to be worth more then that cosidering theres not alot to do.
Just like when ppl 1st started selling Umbral marrows at 50Mil, now there on average 15.

I agree, 10 is a reasonable price, based on rarity. I was laughing at the tard claiming that people will sell cells at 5-15 mil each, good luck with that :)
shiny gives a much much larger boost than nq -> hq does so of course it's going to be much more money, which of course will be inflated the day it comes out like anything in this game /shrug
bam, 25 mil. The boost from NQ > HQ > Shiny are pretty linear
Mekira:
NQ>HQ def+1, vit+1, +.2% dmg to TP, PDT-1
HQ>Sh def+1, vit+1, +.2% dmg to TP. extra change: PDT becomes DT, same percentage
Toci:
NQ>HQ def+1, str/dex+1, DA+1
HQ>Sh def+1, str/dex+1, same DA, extra change: acc/atk+10
Mextli:
NQ>HQ def+1, acc/racc+1, swd/ktn/marks+1
HQ>Sh def+1, acc/racc+1, swd/ktn/marks+1, extra: Dual Wield
sphere effects are marginal because most people dont wear them for the sphere effect

While you guys debate the small increases between pulse/no-pulse, I'll be selling these drops (if i ever get any) for ridiculous prices that JP players will have no issue consuming.

heka actually has refresh when nq and hq don't.
And adding -8% MDT and -8% breath dmg taken on Mekira from zero is a pretty big boost to label "Linear"
Totally worth an extra 20 mil...
and using heka's for the refresh is a sidegrade on most jobs, and a downgrade on others.

You don't need the item first to convert it to a Pulse Cell. LS person said he got Toci's for the first time on a mule, and it gave him an option for cell first.

I'll pay 5m each for your dilrahm cells or mala cells, easily. What's that? The garbage corsair dual wield body got a cell and mala didn't? K, just checking.

So you think a glowy body is worth 25-75 mil? LOOOOOOOOOOL
Yes.
Bolded the important part.
With the new June update, SE added the idea of turning the armor/weapons you get from VWNM into Cells.
•The following equipment items, hereafter to be known as "Pulse Panoplia"—a reference to their luminescent appearance—may now be converted to new items called Pulse Cells.
Anhur Robe / Fazheluo Radiant Mail / Mextli Harness / Mekira Meikogai / Toci's Harness / Heka's Kalasiris /Asteria / Borealis / Coruscanti / Ephemeron / Murasamemaru / Delphinius / Aytanri
Pulse Cell Conversion
1.When obtaining a pulse weapon or piece of armor from a Riftworn Pyxis, select "Obtain as pulse cell."
Items obtainable as pulse cells will be marked with a star.
Pulse cells are stackable (up to 12), deliverable, and may be traded or sold at bazaars and the auction house.
2.Trade five of any one variety of pulse cell to the NPC Ardrick (Jugner Forest, I-8) to obtain the corresponding piece of pulse equipment.
*In order to have equipment reconstructed, players must possess the designation for defeating the Voidwalker that drops the corresponding item.
The three big key parts to this convertion process, is
1. Pulse cells are stackable (up to 12), deliverable, and may be traded or sold at bazaars and the auction house.
2. In order to have equipment reconstructed, players must possess the designation for defeating the Voidwalker that drops the corresponding item. (Only cell for the armor can get traded for the armor)
3. And, the drop rate for the armor = the drop rate of the cells. Because you turn the gear INTO the cell.
This leads me up to the fact that most of these cells are going to go up onto the AH or Bazaars. So my question for you guys and girls is :
How much are you welling to pay for your cell???
Here are the cells:
Pulse Cell: Mx
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a mextli harness.
Pulse Cell: An
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge an anhur robe.
Pulse Cell: Fa
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a suit of fazheluo radiant mail.
Pulse Cell: To
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a Toci's harness.
Pulse Cell: He
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a Heka's kalasiris.
Pulse Cell: Mk
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a mekira meikogai.
Pulse Cell: Bo
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a borealis.
Pulse Cell: As
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge an Asteria.
Pulse Cell: Ep
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge an ephemeron.
Pulse Cell: Mu
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a murasamemaru.
Pulse Cell: Co
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a coruscanti.
Pulse Cell: De
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge a delphinius.
Pulse Cell: Ay
12 This pulsating cell houses the energy required to charge an aytanri.
