Was this maintenance to actually lower bandwith?

Why did I see checking files and downloading version information 3 million times?

This is now what a professional organisation does, this is how an organisation of trained monkeys plans stuff.

And the most fun is: they already knew this update was bugged so surprise surprise more maint on the way.

I think it's only fair to punish the employees by have them play ff13 and ff14 for an entire week on end.

Did the alternative download update still gets pol-1160 error.

amazing SE in the year 2012 still has this crappy update service
no pre-download. not torrent based.

You know, my old love for Squaresoft has kept me coming back, even after all the idiocy that Enix proudly displays, but even nostalgia
can't bring me to forgive this ***anymore. Yet another update that adds absolutely nothing I care about (if you do, fine), and this 10 1/2 hr update is going on TWENTY-FOUR *** HOURS. If asked to put into one word in how I feel about Enix, it would be simple. Hate.

Logged into the 360 version of the game (which I hadn't updated since basically last year...) and I wasn't going to wait 5 hours on the 3500 files that needed to update, so figured I'd try to log in the PC again, no problem, downloading the update lol (for now we shall see)

i still can't get the files to download, gives me a POL-1160 error. is the maintenance still going on on some servers? or maybe lots a people are trying to download at the same time? it's 5:30pm eastern time here might be the beginning of peak time, everyone getting back from work. i will try again a little later. if anyone has any info please post. thanks.
