And here I am! Got the fourth to last copy without having preordered. Also got their last CE guide, which I will reference for artwork after I beat the game.
Reviews are coming in, people are whining about the death penalty. They look like...whiners.
I ended up saying balls to waiting for PC and grabbed the PSN version last night, waiting for it to unlock meow

First impressions...
The Bandai Namco, From Software, and Havok logos went through much faster so the start up time of the game is quicker. ALREADY A BETTER GAME :3! okay that might not be a good enough reason but still ><

I have to wait till I get off work at 7am to pick up my CE at Bestbuy.
Can't wait to start the grind to max level. Hope it's still 700 something and not capped to something that prevents you from maxing yourself out completely. I'll probably start out as a Knight or any class that has good starting items. Going for full efficiency (as best as I can in a new game) on my first playthrough. Kalila said: » First impressions... Dieing in DS1 was irrelevant for the most part, and I think you should be punished for *** up in some way or another. It kind of sends the message of something like "hey, you're *** up/not good enough yet, go get better and come back later". (enemy talking) My first death...
