Aoe Farming. Best And The Easiest!?

I have been farming gold chest on Ninja and I still have alot of gold chest to farm so was considering starting to aoe farm. I am just unsure of what would be the best way to go, or the easiest to make viable.

My current levels are Zolan. Best geared are Rdm, Bst, Nin, Smn, and Blm. Rest are pieced together sets. But I am willing to put the time into getting the best sets to help me.

My Mule would need to be leveled regardless of how I set her up. But currently 99 bst 95 Smn and Blm, 85 Rdm, 75 smn, and 55 whm.

From my understanding War, Blu, Dnc, can all aoe farm pretty well. Rdm can but not as well. I am leaning to BlueMage I think but wanted opinions on which is the best to go with and what I could strive for with todays available equipment

You don't need a "pimp" BLU to aoe farm well, so I'd use BLU for sure.
With the right atmas and decent gear you 1shot mobs pretty much no matter what.

I agree with Kvazz. Atma/gear set-up will play major role. Also knowing which mobs give out the best amber lights per kill if you are gold chest farming. I normally do bugards in mis at 16 per kill and wyverns in konts at 16 per kill, treants in attowha 16 per kill etc.. Usually come out with some nice KI sets fairly quick.

Get Cataclysm, gear up mnk or pld.

Get atma of the Cosmos, Ultimate and Smiting Blow.
MAB and INT gear
Ascetics tonic
/SAM
Pop 2hr chest, sekkanoki cata -> cata -> meditate -> cata
Rinse & repeat

Or you could find the avatars and kill them like 1-2 times for max amber, no? (at least in mis)

I would have said that but, SE seemed to have broken avatar spawns in abyssea mis.
