The rest aren't detectable, it's been stated several times that GM's have meted out baransu to groups abusing clipper to hack through walls or run at galeforce speed.

Funny thing is of all the things listed Skype/vent/mumble will probably help the most whether you have all the other "aids" listed or not. That is unless you're playing with identical quintuplets or something I suppose.

I can understand why people are paranoid, but I would bet my live that those people that got caught were reported before they even entered. No GM is going to cycle through the instances trying to find cheaters, they are way to lazy.

speed traps don't exist~

but whatever. Doesn't matter. Don't care to argue "ffxi morals" with you (or anyone else for that matter). It's already happened, if you care to you can go read one of those threads again~

the only thing on the OP's list that I don't know what it is, is fillmode (wtf is that?) and aside from that (only cuz I don't know what it is so I can't say) none of that list is cheating, speedhacks and clipping are.

they havent fixed anything, fill mode lets you see/target/examine mobs through walls, but not walk through them.

Looking for a few people to static Neo-Nyzul.

As far as requirements go...

DDs must have Empyrean/Relic/Mythic (obviously OAT GS would be better than cala, TP Bonus GK over 85 Masa blah blah blah). Not looking for THFs or NINs, mostly want heavy DDs such as WAR DRK MNK SAM.

SCHs need 460+ enhancing, would like 500+, but I think that might not be so realistic right now. Capped healing would be nice too, but close and capped potency is good enough.

Everyone also must have:

Windower
Spellcast
Lamp .dats (I can provide them)
Fillmode
12% Movement Speed (NO CLIPPER WHATSOEVER)

I don't have access to vent/mumble/skype or whatever right now since my damned mic broke, but as soon as I pick one up I can probably put us on my linkshell's mumble... so having that's a plus, though won't use it if everyone doesn't have it.

For now I'm thinking we'll run around 8-9pm PST every or every other night, granted... I don't mind changing this as long as it works for everyone's schedule.

If you're interested either post here, send me a PM, or drop me a /tell in game.
Sorry for not seeing the obvious, when you generally enter /sam and you can use sekkanokki for light skillchain on Caladbolg + AM 2 or 3 then spam Resolution in between. Unless you doing 100% 4k+ on resolution with OAT GS i don't see the point in refusing Caladbolg DRKs.

Poor choice of words on my part, was typing that up somewhat quickly. It's not like I'd refuse a cala DRK if they had everything else geared correctly, but OAT would normally trump it. Though... situational etc. etc.

In nyzul you're often running around, which makes ODD from torcleaver sorta pointless (unless starting at 300 tp on a boss), since when you engage you're going to have that 100% tp. Granted, with that cala does have a higher base damage and would do higher WS numbers. This also makes TP bonus somewhat at a disadvantage because it starts to lose its effect past 100tp.

I really only meant to give exceptions to emp/relic/mythic onry.

With 2 SCH you're gonna be running with Embrava during 24 minutes (you often gonna be between 200 and 300% TP).

Yeah, with embrava/adloqioum on, there are a lot of opportunities to ws with 200+ tp, especially when you hit a one mob/lamp floor, since you can just regain to full. So I dont see any weapon, other than Kantanotachi, being ahead of an emp/relic/mythic.

This would make masa pull ahead. Masa gains an advantage with every tp over 100. Assuming you're comparing it to 100% tp bonus kanto.

though it doesn't really matter, SAM aint too great in neo-nyzul anyway. Loses it's touch because of all the regain. SAM's main thing is gaining tp quickly, adloqioum and embrava let every other DD keep up. Granted, that's just my take.

How about a 85/90 Cala vs a 99 Oa2x? I'm curious. Don't want to derail thread but curious which one would come out on top in Nyul.
